Pull up a chair, pour yourself a glass of your favorite fizzy beverage,
and make yourself at home. We have some of the smartest,
funniest, and nicest gamers on earth trading tips, reviews, ideas,
and bad jokes. GameTalk is also your most powerful weapon because you'll find tips, tricks,
and solutions here that no one else has. If you don't find the answer you're
looking for, just ask!
GETTING STARTED
To find your favorite game simply enter a few words of its title in the box above and click Search. GameTalk supports over 10,000 titles. Most new and popular games can also be found in the quicklinks below.
Once you find the game either with the Search box above or with the quicklinks below, click on its title. This will take you to a page full of messages by other gamers about that specific game. You will find questions and answers marked with a question mark or circled (I) icon. Tips have jewel icons, polls have a bar-chart icon, reviews have a number icon (0 through 10), and general chat posts have a yellow face icon or a picture icon.
When you see a subject that interests you, click it to see the full message and all replies. When you're done, click the "Back to Index" link to get back to where you were.
If you want to see messages of one type only, for example all tips or all reviews, use the controls that run across the top of the forum. You can use the same controls to start a new message at any time. Your new message will appear at the top of the forum, and it will get it's own URL. Check the message after a few hours either by navigating to it or using the URL to see the replies.
If you need more help simply ask at the [GameTalk Help] forum. You can always access the help forum (and a few others) using the quicklinks at the top of the page. Those "upper quicklinks" are for forums that are not specific to one game, and the "lower quicklinks" are for specific game forums.
SEARCH TIPS
GameTalk is all about finding other people who have the same game(s) as you and sharing the experience with them. We have thousands of game forums that are found by typing a word or two from the title into the search-box at the top of any page. You usually get better results by using less words, for example, if you want "Elder Scrolls III: Game of the Year Edition", just type "elder scrolls" and it will come up in the list of search-results. We also feature many games in the "quicklinks" which appear at the bottom of every page. The quicklinks change over time to reflect what's new and popular.
