Tip for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Provided by: swift assailant Mar 20, 2008 ACOG Scope on M40A3 Sniper Rifle... I've heard rumors about the ACOG scope on the M40A3 sniper rifle makes the recoil direction change to upwards, thus if you aim low on a no-scope you will get a higher fractional percentage of getting a headshot. So I decided to try it out and it's true, but it does take a few games to get used to the triangle as the Crosshair. If you guys wanna get more headshots and learn to no-scope in a simple way, try out the ACOG Scope for the M40A3 Sniper Rifle.
