Summary: In a world parallel to ours set in the early 19th-century, people have the ability to practice a skill known as alchemy, which breaks apart the elements in an object and rebuilds it. To obtain a new object through alchemy, something of equal value must be lost. When a boy named Edward Elrich and his brother Alphonse try to break this law by trying to bring their dead mother back to life using Alchemy, it goes horribly wrong and Edward loses his leg while Alphonse's entire body is lost. Edward then cuts off his arm in order to attach his brother's soul to a suit of armor. After having an adventure with the state military, the two boys go on an adventure to try to rebuild their bodies.
Voice Acting: 10/10. The characters fit perfectly with their voices, even in the English dub.
Plot: 6/10. The first few episodes were excellent. They had plenty of humor and really moved you along the way. The main problem was that later on, many of the characters started dying. All the tragedies involved in the story is almost too much to bear. Let me say this: if you can't stand crying moments like me, don't watch this. You'll end up in tears over some of the tragic deaths involved in this anime.
Overall: 7/10. I liked the anime. The episodes were excellent, but too many tragic deaths kind of puts it off. Sorry if any fullmetal fans get angry. I still think it's a great show.
