Some of the supporting cast is alright, but they seem to get in the way more than anything else at times demanding like 6 guards

but most common shounens the background females such as Kagome from Inuyasha,Orehime(Bleach) are completly useless only to serve as comic releif or fan service.

to C.H- in shaman king,Opachu can shape-shift and detect energy readings/furyoku(I think) in one episode,Opachu turned into a sheep. but other than that,it's never explained how Hao first met Opachu(the little black girl). Hao just has a special bonding friendship with Opachu,and worries about her safetly which explaines why Hao snappeed at Opachu in episode 63

Not saying females in Shounen have to take the stage and kick all ass but seriously they don't have to be annoying and useless

The women in Soul Eater are more competent then the men they fight alongside. Doesn't save the show from being nothing too exiting though. Shounen doesn't impress me as much as it used to

CBX-Yeah, but you can't help but wonder why a vicious character like Hao who believes the week should perish keeps a kid like Opacho around.

GR- I can see your point on this. I personally think that a little more balance is needed. I like to see female leads that can actually fight and not need to be rescued 24-7.

Actually, women in DBZ had their moments. Bulma had a huge role in the technological department.

Chi-Chi was actuakly kind of funny to me, slapping Buu, beating up her father various times, and that time when she tried to fight the saiyans with a machine gun. Everyone, including Bulma's mother who rarely does anything, had to hold her back for that one. I found it pretty funny.

CBX-I actually think Opacho was strong, but how strong is the real question? We never get to find that out.

fans of fighting games take ripped screenshots/sprite sheets to import them into Mugen to make they're own 2-D fighting games,theres tons of videos of it everywhere on youtube.
