probobally lots of people here will think im an ahole after this but so be it. griffinluna you are serissouly mistaken when u talk about how good this series is. ive read both books sight and fell and really i think both are incredibly dull and to put it bluntly stupid. to be fair im not a huge fan of teen fiction but i had been given firebringer(davies first novel) and found it to be pretty good esspissally for a teen fic novel, so with much anticipation i picked up the sight wich i found to be a dismal read and then reluctanly i decided to give fell a shot after a really good review by a close freind, sad to say but i hated this one to. now heres what i have to say griffinluna u claim to have read both eragons and few potters of wich both u dident like so heres what it is thoes book series are the two best ur going to find in the teen fiction genere the only other one being on par with thoes two is maybe the twilight sreies by stephanie meyer(this series has wolves in it too) and if u dident like thoes then ur probably not going to find much u will like here. so my suggestion is that u pick up some regulsr fiction(depending on ur age and reading level)a vouple of picks would be the gunslinger by stephen king, interview with the vampire by anne rice, fight club by chuck phalhunk(sp?), silence of the lambs by thomas harris, frankenstein by dean koontz, catcher in the rye by jd salinger, and lastly the stand by stephen king(this could quite possibly be the single greatest book ever made). so thats it my reaction to ur review so stop reading sucky series and start reading some good stuff. oh and one more thing the video game for me that has the greatest story if final fantasy 7!

I really hope you are in some distant third world country, because the only thing dismal is your english. I hate Stephen King, every one of his books are the same. the end of the world has come (or is coming) so a select few, often times including someone with downs, has to come together and kill...satan. Wonderful.

If a book has humans as the main characters, it is this simple: I don't like it. That is why I liked "The sight" far more than "Fell" because Fell had far too much human involvement.

Books with animal's as the characters are 9/10 times, complete crap. But every now and then one pulls through, and it is beautiful. "The Sight" is one of the few books I could call "pure"...this is why.

Books with humans as characters...EVERY time, they have some lame force driving them. Whenever humans are involved, these three things are involved also.

1. Money or materialistic good

2. property

3. lust

and you know what? I'm sick of reading the same books AGAIN and AGAIN. some generic "bad for no real reason" bad guy comes up, Voldemort in Harry Potter, and Galbatorix in Eragon. Why are they evil? who care! lets follow yet another Frodo and Luke Skywalker RIP OFF as they journey for revenge against an evil force that has no reasoning behind it.

Galbatorix wanted to rule to world because...his clan wouldn't give him another dragon. wow, really? thats depressing...NOT. compared to the events in "The Sight" that build the antagonist. Morgra, Galbatorix is the equivalent of a little child crying because he didnt get the toy he wanted.

Voldemort is evil because... he got picked on in school. awww poor kid! by all means his generic "done before" actions are justified right? Lets see...Kill people for no reason...check. Take over world because he is angry...check

yep, all the requirments for a generic bad guy are there.

But when you take away the human element, all you have left in nature, the wild, and blind faith. The key points of "the sight" and "Fell" They are wolves! they aren't driven by some shallow need for money, and lust isn't involved in any way! Property isn't an issue, and they have no need for materialistic goods!

THAT is what I mean by "pure". And that is why "The Sight" and "Fell" are the two greatest books I have ever read (that being said, I got them both 2 days before I posted this message, so it rose to the top quite quickly)

you know if you change a few names of people and places in FF7 it is THE EXACT SAME story as FF6?

FF7- emo guy who swings a 700 LB sword with utmost ease is looking for his past, while his old friend wants to destroy the world because an alien's head told him so.

ill indulge u at least a little, i really dont remember the specifics of sight and fell n u know what i dont claim too. i remember hating them and felling that this was a complete waste of my time. all i was trying to do was tell u that you really and that if you just look past your pride and ignorance you can find some really great reads. as to the video game thing ive played both games baten kaistos and skies of arcadia(awesome game loved it, best game on dreamcast) but i still feel final fantasy7 is the best rpg ever. aeris death scene is enough to make anyone cry along with a story that has more twists and turns then a freakin rollacoaster. i dont care that you dont like final fantasy or stephen king it really dosent bother me unlike how upset u got cause i somthing mean to say about ur wofl books. lastly my english is perfectly fine, my spelling may need some work but hey whatever right. if u hear me talk in real life you would see that i have an exelent vocabulary, this due partly to the fact that i was brought up in a world with dawson and buffys. lastly if i upset u im sorry it was never my intention to do that, all i wanted to do was tell u that u have other options out there except crappy kids novels
