I would go there too, except that it's not my favorite JD Salinger piece. So meh. |

I stick with Tolkien, though I've been wanting to read "Catcher in the Rye" and "Nineteen Eighty-Four". I have "Gown with the Wind" and the Bible, but haven't read them. Actually I am reading the Bible currently, at least three chapters a day of it, as a point of view of it simply being literature. Its fairly interesting, but I wouldn't call it the most of those. |

Catcher in the Rye is simple, yet almost poetic...but mostly simple. 1984 is like dread mixed with lukewarm-ness that ended with me losing all hope for a little while. Insanely depressing ending the the last words you would ever expect to hear from the main character. Lord of the Rings is like an Epic Poem with really bad fight scenes...actually the fights get really good in the end. I haven't read the others. |
