Shatterpoint - By Matthew Stover
It's been a while since I had a Star Wars novel I really enjoyed reading. You know, the kind of book where you have to talk yourself OUT of finishing chapters? (normally because it's four o'clock in the morning...) So yeah, I'm enjoying that.
Tangled Webs - By Anne Bishop
I completely love the Black Jewels Series, but Tangled Webs is just leaving me high and dry. It's just not epic enough for my tastes, it doesn't fit very well with the rest of the series. I love Surreal, but I really think we should have a story following Jaenelle.
Queen of the Slayers - By Nancy Holder
This is my current "fluff" book, but I'm on a bit of a Buffy high right now, so it's okay. Light, easy, fun book. It'll also help me work on the Buffyverse wiki - they are really lacking EU stuff over there.
The Princess Bride - By William Goldman
Fun so far. I'm not rushing through this. I'm just reading it for when I feel like a change. As a devout follower of the movie, it's actually kind of nice to have all the character images and voice already in my head. (for once. Stupid Harry Potter movies, ruining Mr. Weasley...) It's not the highest quality I've ever read, but it does its job as a fairy tale quite well.
There's also a number of books that I've technically STARTED, but am taking a long (sometimes very long) time to finish.
City of Pearl
The Lord of the Rings
Spawn of the Winds
Sins of the Father
The Magician’s Nephew
Diamonds Are Forever
Tomorrow I'll be starting Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Omnibus Volume 4, and on Tuesday I'll get my hands on Legacy of the Force: Invincible.
Really looking foward to that last one.
