I have the PC version of Alone in the Dark and its great and all, a little difficult like the immortal boss in the library (exaggeration) but its cool. Anyway, I put in the code for the library and unlock a portait. Instead of rushing over to the lobby and getting the goodies behind it (mainly because I didn't want to face those 2 monsters outside until I had to) I thought to myself I would be smart and do the book puzzle, to save me an extra trip. HUGE MISTAKE!!! It turns out, when I went back to the lounge, as I opened on portait the numbering mechanisims turned ON! I typed in all the dates exept grampa's because when I tried to, I ended up opening the portait and all the mechanisims turned OFF!!!! AUGH!!! now I am totally lost with a plasma gun, metallic plate and Large Ornate & small bronze keys. I have this awful feeling I'm horribly screwed, but I'm hopeing someone can tell me Im wrong! I really don't feel like doing the code and book puzzles all over again, not to mention the boss. So.... help??
