I've never understood why people don't like FF. The only decent arguement I've heard is "it smushes the screen", but these people always seem to have REALLY low resolution settings. Personally, I find it really useful, especially for noticing if someone has replied to a post towards the bottom of the page. |

it's annoying it should just show YOUR posts not the whole world's. and yes it does smush the screen who cares about how good YOUR RESOLUTION game talk claims its for everybody. If I make a typo lets say ampd instead of amps or Sups cel; instead of supa cell guess what shows up on familiar faces? The only good thing about them is mods can delete things faster sayin oh no amps is back to bash Digimon again. |

"it's annoying it should just show YOUR posts not the whole world's" that...doesn't even make any sense. how would the FF know who you are? "and yes it does smush the screen who cares about how good YOUR RESOLUTION game talk claims its for everybody." NO website codes for "everybody", with the possible exception of google (gmail & google calendar & google maps don't work for everybody, but the main google page does). the standard web user uses IE 6.0, windows XP, javascript turned off, 1024x768 resolution. if you ues less than that, it's your choice to use a substandard set-up. should the site be perfectly coded for lynx users, amps? "If I make a typo lets say ampd instead of amps or Sups cel; instead of supa cell guess what shows up on familiar faces? " So? the people reading the post will see that anyway. "and the familiar faces make kid rush around to make sure their post is on top all the time" they do that anyway. "The only good thing about them is mods can delete things faster sayin oh no amps is back to bash Digimon again." and, clearly, that's a BAD thing, right? |

I love Familiar Faces and don't find it ugly or cumbersome in the slightest. Not only does it show everyone who's visited the page, but it saves people the trouble of sorting out those cheap impersonation tricks. Has its uses when finding quicklink-spammers, as well... One can think it unsightly, but it's definitely not a useless tool. |

~ shrug ~ never found it all that helpful. I run at 1280x1024 so I have plenty of space, but its just freakin' crazy ugly. First of all, it doesn't even look aligned. It should start after the forum header- second I've noticed it gets messed up, such as some people's name being stuck at the top. |

FF is annoying only when your resolution is 800 x 600 or less. It is not very annoying when turned to 1024 x 768 or more. There should be a definite note at the top of GameTalk's page, saying, "This website is best viewed at a resolution of 1024 x 768 or more", due to FF and the quicklinks. |

I dont agree The Quicklinks and the Fimilair Faces help me out alot of the time and make it Easier. If your Friend wanted to talk to you in a post you didnt know about and he just said to look for you. You would have to check every post to see where he is. Or were he last posted. You would click on his name in the FF and they would take you write to him a a Second. Also you will always know when your Friends are on because you might not notce them. Think of it they might not post in a while. The FF really dont take up alot of the page it really Deppends what your computer Screen Size is. My Laptop makes it look like its really small but My Dextop makes it take up alot of the Space. But sometimes the FF get Streched by Page Stretching or get smaller and take up more space from below if alot of people post and it takes up alot of the space but if people stop Page Streching it would never happen. "it's annoying it should just show YOUR posts not the whole world's" Yes that does make no Sence at all FF Woudnt know who you are. The quicklinks are Helpful because they get you to populated forums faster and quicker If there were no Quicklinks then it will be hard to go to the GT forums you would have to write the URL everytime you want to go from [complaints] to [modhelp]. |

Maybe they should put something at the top where you can toggle them on/off. |
