For those who don't know what a Gamma Ray is it is one of the stages of a death of a star energy and radiation shoots out and has more energy in them then a hundred billion million suns-Since this happens so fast we wouldnt even know if it was coming so most of us would die-it also would incinerate our O-Zone layer....blah-blah so just read or watch more about it any way ill cut to the chase now...do you think it is possible to get hit by 1 of these blast of rays?The smartest guy in physics (Stephen Hawking) on a tv show said that the earth has not been hit by a Gamma Ray in the last 4 1/2 billion years since the earth was created so the chances of one happening in the near future is very low

A Gamma Ray is merely a type of radiation. What you are talking about is a GRB or 'GAmma Ray Burst' from a huge star which is a huge amount of Gamma radiation. theres a planet scintest discoverd called planetx or somthing they say that there are rivers lakes and ocens and possabailt crops and live stock so there could be life there and they could be like cavemen living in the year 0001 or the could be in the year 999,999,999 and in any minut could fire stuff at us like a gamma ray the could find a way to capture a star and taik the ray baterys if you would and 3....2....1.... fire!	plantet Sep 30, 2007 (234 days and 18 hours ago)
