To use ALT an ALT code you must Hold down the ALT button, you will find two of them on your key board, one to the left of your Space Bar and one to the right of your Space Bar, you you can use either one to perform a ALT code, do you hold down Either one and press "1" "2" or "3" Digit(s) you have two type in these digit(s) in with your Numeric Key pad on the (Right) side of your key board, (NOT) the number key(s) on the top of your key board, there is no point to do any ALT code over number "255" since after that it just repeats it's self over and over again.

Notice: This is for PCs only, If you have a Macintosh computer this will not work, so if you have a Mac just hold down ALT and push any letter to make an alt symbol, (ex: ALT+k= Apple Logo)

To perform a ALT code on a laptop you have to have "Number Lock" on, when you have "Number Lock" on the letter "M" will be the "Zero" button, "J" will be "One", "K" will be "Two", "L" will be "Three", "U" will be "Four", "I" will be five", "O" will be "Six", and "7" "8" "9" will be "7" "8" "9".

How to use a "Bullet Point": Put a star at the front Paragraph/Sentence.
How to make a "star": To make/perform a star you have to hold the "Shift" Button, you will find "Two" "Shift Buttons on your key board, one on the right of your key board right under your enter key, and the other on the left side of your key board under you "Caps lock" Button, well you are holding down either of the "Shift" buttons press the "8" key on the top of your key board "NOT" the number keys on your numeric key pad on the right of your key board.
Also: holding down both of the "Shift" key(s) will work for using the star or any other keys on your key board, (NOT) counting the keys on your numeric key pad.
