"Get those god damned Drones!" I yelled to Riley that caught up with a handful of Marines. I leveled my rifle & laid crouch next to Mei-Ling, Kat, & JC suppressing fire on the Grunts & Jackals. I turned to Spartan-148, Keith aka "Gunny" & Spartan-047, Rin once a former Team TENGU member.

"You two!" I ordered at them not knowing that Spiker rounds nearly hit me. I cursed & aggressively leveled my Rifle at that same Brute that almost killed me. "Get your M6SLs & target those Hunters." They acknowledged.

"Scarface, Vector." I continued to bark orders. "Can you guys get to that Chieftain?" They nodded & said, "So easy, Hunt." They went off & Vector covered him with his FRG.

I turned to Johnson Miller & along with him is his older brother, Bronson. "So this is your plan, JC!?" He looked at me & said, "It works for Team Foxtrot." He turned to Mika Hines, MJ & Lin. "Come with me, girls. We're taking the right flank." They left.

I looked at my Squad Leader, Bronson Miller. "Your brother's odd, you know?" He laugh & said, "It runs in the family." I grinned at him. I then turned on my Radio Comm. Pack & my boom mike to Cdr. Thomas, James, & Noreh.

"What's your status? Did you guys reached to the explosives?" It's too bad for James & them not being here with us near the Throne Room.

Commander Thomas (COM): We're closing in on your poisition hunter. Fraizer went alone to the place where he planted the explosives.

Marine (COM): And get this, he dual-weilded TWO F***ING ROCKET LAUNCHERS! Awesome or what?

Noreh (COM): Even so, I do not trust him. he could be our enemy for all we know.

Commander Thomas (COM): We'll worry about that later. It's not like he's a one-man army.

At the armory where the erxplosives were planted, a Jiralhanae Cheiftan along with a Lekgolo pair and five Captains forced their way into the armory and look at thexplosives planted there. Fraizer fires a shot from each of the SPNKr Rokcet launchers and manages to destroy one Lekgolo and three captains. The survivors spin around and open fire while James legs it and fires one of the launchers right at the center of the C14 and antimatter charges.The result is an explosion that blew a hole in the side of the carrier and shook the entire ship. Oddly enough, the explosives wern't planted over a plasma line.

Jaames (COM): ARRRGH!! {Static}

When the firefight of our team of Marines & ODSTs, I heard static through the Comm Channels. "James? James!? What the Hell happened?" The ship shook so hard that the Brutes & the Loyalists have been stunned by its shocking force.

Then I heard Commander Thomas breaking through the COM. "2ndLt. Hunter, It seems that James have knocked off the Armory with his C-14s. We contact from him. Sorry though, He was a Great ODST than all of us here." I looked disappointed. I said to myself, "Why James Frazier? I was gonna bring everyone I know back out of the ship." I took a deep & depressing breath.

"But the good news is that the Plasma Lines are intact." Cdr. Thomas continued. "If he took it out, we'll be done for. We'll be at your position in 15 minutes. Out" he cuts the transmission.

I'm depressed now. One of a ODST soldier I met before died. But for a great cause of us all. I promised we'll take that Prophet out. I said to myself, "This is for you, LCPL James Frazier." I then pop out of cover & aimed at a group of Grunts at the corner. And sprayed them leaving no mercy.

Mei-Ling saw me what I was doing. Then she helped me with the shooting of the Grunts. I looked at Mei-Ling. I said nothing to her. Jet & Kat covered JC & his team. They flanked them at the right catching the Loyalists off guard.

"Too many soldiers died today. And one of them is LCPL James Frazier." I heard echoing in my mind.

Commander Thomas, Noreh and the Marines make their way toward's Hunter's position, eliminating Loyalists on their way and bypassing heavily guarded corridoors. Noreh leads them through the confusing tunnels with his knowledge of Covenant ships from his time as a Heretic when he stormed various ships. They soon make iot to a T-Junction.

Marine: Which way now?

Noreh: Right is the faster way through this section.

Commander Thomas: My GPS says that there's a Brute Ambush waiting for us down that route, we have to go left.

Noreh: That will take us round all of the rooms and past the reactor on this deck, there is no corridoor to bridge both ends of the ship.

Commander Thomas: Then left it is. Move out!

((Note: I'm going to introduce a plot twist. Wait and see what it is))

I sat down with my back against our cover, even with shots being fired above me, in my mind, it was completely silent. Only me and my thoughts. I buried my face into my hands. Why James? He helped me through the Flood, and now hes gone. I didn't understand it. More shots flying over my head, rifle in my hands, I popped up and unloaded my clip, sparaying across the line off Jackels near the group of Grunts Lt. Hunter and the rest were firing on.

When my clip emptied, leaving only two Jackels dead out of the five, I tossed a frag grenade under their feet. "Frag out!" I hollered as it sore through the air. I would avenge Frazier even if it meant sacrificing myself. I looked to Lt. Hunter, he looked just as fierce about this as I did. As a matter of fact, Jet, Mei-Ling and the other woman that was with us did too. I only hoped they would be able to lay their cards on the table when the time came.

((a plot twist, huh? sweet i can put this in my book. oh btw, there's another Spartan-II with Gunny. Her name is Spartan-047, Chief Petty Officer Rin. And Scarface have already reached to my position. Just to let you guys know.))

I looked over to Riley that threw his M-9 to the Jackals thus killing half of them. Then I turned to Gunny & Rin, they already took out 4 Hunter pairs up ahead. I looked over to Scarface & Vector, so far they took out the Chieftain & part of the Mid-Size Brute Pack. I smiled a bit.

I switched on my boom mike. "JC. Are you in position? Over." There was a short pause then, Johnson came through, "Yes Hunt, we are. Give out the signal to go. Over." "Affirmative." I replied.

I patted Jet & looked at Kat. "JC is in position. Get their attention. Got it." They acknowledged & sprayed rounds at the Loyalists. I looked at Riley & gave him a cease-fire gesture. I gave him hand-signs of look at the corner of the room near the pillar. He nodded.

Then I blocked Mei-Ling. "Mimi, just stay & watch." She looked confused. "Okay, Mikey?" As the fighting got worst, I gave out a green light. Flashing it three-times, letting JC & his team to flank them. They fired & I gave an order to "FIRE!" at the confused Loyalists.

Then I turned on my Comm. Pack again to contact Commander Thomas. "Get your sorry A** here, Commander. We need all the help we can get." I was stupid to say that. But I already faced those charges before. One on my D.I., which is my Squad Leader of Delta Squad, Bronson C. Miller & a older brother to Johnson C. Miller. Twice on disobeying HIGHCOM & Commanding Officers.

It was great to have Riley, Gunny, Rin, Jet, My girlfriend Mei-Ling, Kat, A'tar 'Jorrem aka Scarface, Vector, Johnson, Lin, MJ, & Mika with us. But I had to leave Zim, Sgt. Petroski, & the others behind.

Commander Thomas (COM): Our easy way was blocked off sir, so we have to loop round the back and past the reactor. At least we'll sandwich those Cov...

Marine (COM echo): Sir! We've got a freindly contact heading our way... Huh? It's now registering as an enemy!

Commander Thomas (COM): What the...? BATTLE POSITIONS EVERYONE!

Plasma fire and Magnum shots can be heard though Thomas' radio, followed by screaming.

Commander Thomas (COM): Return fire!

Marine (COM echo): I can't get a lock! AARGH!

Return fire can be heard along with the other shots. More death cries are heard.

Marine Corporal (COM echo): No thermal regist... UGH!

Noreh (COM echo): {Along with Needler shots} I can see him perfectly. A Human traitor!

Commander Thomas (COM): We need reinforcements! Half of us have been wiped out!

I heard the screams of Marines on my Comm. Pack. I contacted Zim, Sgt. Petroski, & a couple marines. "Zim, Petroski. Are you here? We need extra support on my position. Fire Team Oscar, find out what the hell happened to Commander Thomas on his last location. A-SAP!" They all acknowledged & went off to find Thomas & his team.

Then a transmission came through to Riley's COM. "Hey comrade. I'm coming to save your butt twice. Get ready to buy me twice of amount of beer & vodka."

The things I heard over the Lt's Comm. Pack made me shudder and turned the blood in my veins cold. The screams of those Marines will haunt me for as long as I live, I know this much. Then I heard the L-T contact Sgt. Petrowski and my good Russian comrade, Zim, I put my hand around my back yanked the phone off the hook. "Yeah, maybe, unless I end up saving you again when your TRYING to save me."

I began to smile at that and threw the phone back on my Comm. Pack. "Ok Sir, I think Im ready to whoop some Loyalist ass." I gave Lt. Hunter a salute and a smile and cocked my BR55 and crouched. And waited.

Live at the action, another Marine dies from a Magnum headshot and another from a rocket blast. Noreh rams himself into one marine, thowing him out of the way of an incoming missle.

Marine: Thanks bud, I owe you one.

Norreh: Enough talk. Let us finish that...

Commander Thomas: GET OUT OF THE WAY YOU TWO!

A rocket hits the marine and sends Noreh flying into a wall head first, knocking him unconcious. Commander Thomas gets two shots at his legs and two shots at the arms, making him fall on the ground in agony. With his vision fading, he sees the silhouette of an ODST with a SPNKr rocket launcher in one hand and a magnum trained on Thomas' head in the other. Thomas limply grabs his PDA and accesses the ODST's HUD then looks at it's rank and name.

Commander Thomas: No... that's impossible...

ODST Traitor (Masked voice): Ever heard the lullaby? Rest in peace baby.

The sound of the Magnum shot rings out down the corridor. The traitor then grabs Thomas' PDA and wirelessly erases all the dead marines' visual recorder data before breaking it in half and running down the corridor to the reactor. To the litseners, the COM line buzzes then goes dead.

I heard the COM Channels break off into silence. There was something wrong. Fire Team Oscar didn't made it in time for the aid. I have a weird feeling that I lost someone that we all know. I looked over to Riley.

"Semi-snipe those Brute attackers with your BR55. Help out Johnson & his team. Yuri" I saw Yuri & Sgt. Petroski came in with their crosshairs aimed down the sight. "Yuri & Luigi. Support Riley & bring him into one of those doors as we're done with the Brutes here." "Yessir, Lt. Hunter." they both said in unison.

"Jet. Kat." I turned to him & Kat. "Take sniper point on those Hunter Pairs." They nodded & went off. Then I turned to Mei-Ling. "Mei-Ling follow me & keep your head down." She said, "Alright, Mikey-san." with a worried expression. Then we ran off to the left of the fighting.

I still wonder what really happened to Commander George T. Thomas of Zulu Squad & the rest of his Squad of Marines & ODSTs.......

I put the scope of my BR55 to my eye and leveled it right onto a Brute's face that was firing on Johnson and his squad. I held my breath and fired a 3 round burst that smacked straight into its eye and re-emerged out the other side of the head. I began to grin as Johnson gave a nod of his head and resumed his fight. I then decided to cause another Brute some pain before he died. I moved down his body until I reached its kneecap, or what I thought would be his kneecap underneath all the fur. BAM, cartilidge and blood and even some bone flew from the force of impact. The Brute roared in pain grasped its leg and kneeled. That made it an easy target for Johnson and his team. The next thing I knew that Brute dropped from a spray of fire from someone in Johnson's sqaud. I grinned, but a second later a Brute saw my position and before I could duck down a plasma round came and hit my arm and I dropped. The pain was unbearable. "AHH, FUCK-"

Before I finished that next sentance I bit hard into my hand so it seemed I had died somehow. I kept down until a Medic or someone got to me.

I saw Riley got hit. Then I told myself, "Not Riley, Please don't take him." I ran up to him along with Mei-Ling & said, "You're gonna be alright." Mei-Ling covered me while I tried patching him up with BioFoam. The can almost went dry. Damn.

I turned & tapped to Mei-Ling's shoulders. "Mimi. You got any biofoam on ya?" No response. I turned her around & saw plasma burns on her chest. She looked at me. "Mikey, here you...go..." she collapsed & fell on me. She handed me the Can. I was worried again. I thought I was gonna lose both Riley & Mei-Ling simultaneously. I quickly finished patching up Riley & said to him, "Are you okay, Riley?" Then I told Yuri to cover him while I patch up Mei-Ling.

I checked her pulse. She's okay for now. I tried waking her up & she did. "You're gonna be alright. I'm here to protect you, like I promised you before, Mei-Ling." I grabbed my MA5C Assault Rifle ICWS & aggressively fired upon the Loyalists including our own guys that was in the way. I got carried away because my anger of what they done to my Best Friends & the friends I met along the way here.

"Yuri!" I yelled at him while he covered Riley. "We're gonna fight to the End!" He nodded & said, "Yes we are, Hunt. Just like my brother, Mikhail Putin." he grinned a bit. Then we continued our attack on them. I thought, "Is this worth fight for? Yes it is."

All of a sudden, Plasma shots and SPNKr rockets collide with the back of the Loyalists.

Jiralhanae Captain: WE ARE BEING ATTACKED FROM BEHIND!!!

??? (Masked voice): Too late, ignoramus.

The mystery soldier continues firing at the Loyalists, dodging shots and grenades with ease. He then slings the Rocket launcher over his's right sholder since the left one has another rocket launcher slung over it, before drawing a Magnum and shoots at the Yaname'e (Drones) so they fall on top of the other Loyalists, distracting them so that he can lob an antimatter charge at them.

The explosion sets Unngoy methane tanks on fire and reacts witht he grenades held by the Loyalists, creating an explosion that wipes out nearly half of the Covenant forces. He then holdsters his plasma rifle and Magnum then runs towards the loyalists with both rocket launchers drawn then finishes off the Lekgolo pairs and Jiralhanae captains before stylishly realoading both rocket launchers at the same time before slinging them over his sholders. He steps into the light and reveals that he is an ODST.

Marine Sergant: Hey, thanks for that... Wait, you're registering as an enemy!

The sergant gets four Magnum rounds to the chest before collapsing douwn dead. The others level their guns at him.

ODST Traitor (Masked voice): You sure that's a good idea? {Gestures to dead Loyalists}

As I layed their being worked on by someone, not really registering who it was, I just kinda focused on the plasma burn on my arm. The pain was intense, but I kept quiet while they finished a can of BioFoam on my arm. It stung more and more with every drop of it. The next thing I heard was a series of explosions and silence. That snapped me back to reality and I noticed it was the Lt that was patching me up. I looked up at him with a smile.

"Did we win already?" I began to laugh a little, as soon as my arm was patched I would be ready to finish this fight. I promised that to PVT William Scott.

((Where your character at? Where we're at? I'm kinda confused.))

Mei-Ling awoke behind me as series of explosions ignited. It caught everyone on the alert. I saw her getting up. "Whoa, Mei-Ling. Lay down & let me do the fighting for you." She nodded then said, "No, Mikey. I won't let you...you got a serious injury on your leg. Remember that spiker round?"

I simply ignored her & continued our watch for the enemies. Then Yuri saw a figure then showing himself as an ODST like us. "It can't be James Frazier?" said Zim questioning his thoughts "That SOB sacrificed his life. Hey Riley, come with me we'll take a closer look at him. Hammer, Zero, & Shogun. Let's go." They all go including Johnson & his team of FOXTROT that was once in the 1st Infantry Division, "Big Red One".

Then I turned to Mei-Ling carried her in a firemen carry to JET, Kat, & Mana. I whispered to her softly, "Everything is gonna be alright. Remember I'm here." She cried on my back & said, "I know, Mikey. I know..." then she buried her face into my back as we headed to them.

ODST Traitor (Maskes voice): Ah, ah, ah, not another step or I pull the pin on this grenade and blow us all to kingdom come.

The Traitor holds up a grenade in plain view.

ODST Traitor (Masked voice): And you're right about Fraizer being dead. He died when I detonated the armory, along with him.

'This son of a bitch...I'll kill him...' I thought to myself as I saw him hold up the grenade. 'Maybe, if I can slide my arm down my side to my hip to where my Magnum is holstered, maybe I can pop one off on him.' I continued to think. This was a risky move, but I had to do it for James. I slowly crept my hand to the holster, I made it that far without him noticing. But something just made me stop there. I looked over to Lt. Hunter as my fingers danced on the holster of that Magnum. The plasma burn on my left arm hurt like hell, but I waited for the Lt's GO or NO-GO.

ODST Traitor (Masked voice): I have standing orders to kill you all, but I'll let you take out Wrath first.

'Scarface': Ordered by whom?

ODST Traitor (Masked voice): The URF high command.

The Marines tightened their grips on their weapons. The Traitor then grabs the pin and pulls it out.

ODST Traitor (Masked voice): Ciao.

He dropped the grenade and it explodeds into a flash of dazzling light. It turned out to be a flashbang grenade. Once everyone regained their sight, the Traitor disappeared witout a trace.

As Hammer (Bronson C. Miller, brother to Johnson; "JC" & 2nd-in-Command of this Operation) gave out the order to kill that ODST SOB that killed Commander Thomas & his team, That URF soldier let go of his Flashbang grenade & he disappeared. Everyone got disoriented from it.

I cleared my eyes from it while shielding Mei-Ling's. Damn I thought. If he killed Commander George T. Thomas, then we're sh!t right now. We now got half of the troops left on this ship. I put down Mei-Ling & turned on my boom mike to Fire Team Oscar. "Come in FTO. This Delta 21, over. Get your a** back here. On the DOUBLE!"

Then a response came through. "Yessir, Lt. But we found Commander Thomas & his team. Two Zulu Members are KIA, the other one is MIA possibly. We also found Noreh here & going to make it back in 5 minutes, over & out."

That was good to hear, but bad also. "We lost Zulu Squad" I said to Jet, Kat, Mana, & Riley. "Commander Thomas is dead. Along with his team & two of his squadmates. Not including Zim though." Then I heard something from Hammer.

"Okay then," he said aloud. "Now this is it! We're gonna get that Prophet & kill him! Then we'll find out who's that ODST REALLY is!" All of the marines & Johnson's ODST Team shouted a cheer. "HOO-RAH!" said Zim, Mana, & Sgt. Petroski in unison.

"Riley, Jet." I turned to him & Jet. "Take point, you two. I gotta carry Mei-Ling over there too." She looked at me & said, "No, Mikey! I'll walk for now." She got up a bit & collapsed of her chest pain. She moaned from it. "No, Mei-Ling. I insist, I'll carry you there & going to be with you all the time. Okay?" She nodded. "Okay..."

"Let's move!" said Johnson leading the group instead of Riley & Jet to lead. I came to Hammer with Mei-Ling on my back. "I swear he's weird." We both laughed about him & went off to the Prophet's Throne Room & Hall.......

Noreh regains conciousness from the Rocket blast then gets to his feet and shakes his head. He then looks around and notices Fire team Oscar running down the hallway. Noreh then reloads his Carbine and Needler and polices grenades from the bodies of Zulu squad before leveling his Carbine and rejoining FTO.

Noreh: I will see this battle finished, one way or another.

FTO Marine: Good to see you alive, we need all the help we can get.

We got to the Throne Hall & its huge doors. We took out most of the Brutes guarding the door. I thought, "They should of heard the fighting outside." I tuned to the Marines including Noreh. I can't believed they're all here. I guess Fire Team Oscar made it.

"Place satchel charges on that door." ordered Hammer to three Marines. They acknowledged & placed about 6 charges. Then Scarface ordered some Hunter Pairs (4 pairs in total) that FTO found in the brig towards here. "Lekgolos. Take position in front of the door." Scarface said. He then turned to his Elite brethrens. "Elites, draw swords & follow behind the Hunters." He turned to Riley, Jet, Zim, Johnson, & I while holding onto Mei-Ling on my back. "You Marines do the same."

We took positions behind them. Then 3-5 crackling booms blew in the door causing the doors to break in three pieces. I took a glance at the Throne & the Prophet at the top. It was like the 'false' bridge we fought on, but it was twice the size. Alot more Loyalists than before. 4-5 Chieftains, 49 Captain Ultras, Majors, Minor, 64 Ultras, Majors, Minors, a huge handful of Grunts & Jackals. There's one Brute Chieftain that I took a closer look on.

And it was the same Blood Shot RED Brute Chieftain that I remembered before. A Brute "Ultra" Chieftain or "Super Chieftain" name was "Blood Omen" or simply just Kain; Kane. That same Brute have faced countless humans on one of the UNSC Colonies & killed over 1.5 Billion lives with his Type-52 Gravity Hammer aka "The Great Purge".

And also killed 25 Spartan-IIs & keeping their helmets along with their heads as trophies. His white fur reminds everyone to not mess with him because once he targets you, you'll never escape. He's like the Predators from that Predator Movie. His eyes are Golden brown & his height stands almost as the Hunters. He enjoys his prey too.

"Advance!" shouted Scarface leading the Hunters into the fray. The Marines followed behind them. I stayed behind & bringing Mei-Ling to a saf place to put her down. Jet, Kat, Zim, & Riley followed me as well. "Riley, Zim. Take sniper positions on both towers. Move!" They acknowledged. "This is for the Motherland & for Mikhail." said Yuri (Zim), "Let's go Riley!" I turned to Jet & Kat. "Cover me for a bit. Okay?" They nodded. "Mei-Ling I'll be with you all the way. Don't worry."

Noreh fired his Carbine at the Unngoy's atmosphere suits, causing some to explode and set other Unngoy and Kig-Yars (Jackals) on fire. He then grabs a handful of Frag and Plasma grenades from his bandoleirs on one hand and another handful in the other, then activates them all before throwing them towards the Loyalists. They explode, killing some and causing others to recoil from the impact. A Kig-Yar sniper shoots Noreh in the sholder, causing his sheilds to drop halfway before he retaliated with a volley of Needler rounds. He then took cover behind some Ammo crates and throws grenades from different intervals.

ODST: I'm glad he's on our side.

Marine: Ditto.

I ran behind Yuri and it kind of made me feel safe, well, for a moment, then I realized we were being shot at. I prayed he wouldn't go down. "COME ON YURI, HAUL ASS!" He started to laugh and said, "Im trying comrade, Im trying!" I smirked. He ran towards the left tower and got up into it before I got to the right one. I didn't look towards him but I figured that hed be ok. As soon I got up the right tower, I found a Jackal. Face to face. Befor it could react, I pulled out my Magnum and pulled the trigger. Right between the eyes, blood sprayed my face and Magnum and helmet. Sick. But, luckily he had a sniper rifle which would help me out a lot. I saw Brute Chieftain run from the side toward Mei-Lings position, but, I doubt it was on purpose. I fired on it quickly, just to grab its attention. I fired once more, which collided with its face. It dropped instantly. I waved to Mei-Ling just to let her know Id make sure nothing would happen to her when Lt. Hunter wasn't around. I then turned to fire on the main battle. "I only hope someone would return the favor to me before this fight was over." I said to myself quietly as I positioned the Beam Rifle scope to my eye...
