Not necessarily. The task was completed, and Snape can still protect Draco regardless of where he is at. Besides, it’s not in Draco’s character to want to be on the good side. Hopefully we won’t see much of Draco in the final book (maybe a small confrontation), because he isn’t important. I still think your theory has an edge to it. Ultimately, the Unbreakable curse will be Snape’s downfall, but not because Draco joins the good side. |

No Snape made 3 vows and here they are exactly as the book says. 1.) "Will you, Severus, watch over my son, Draco, as he attempts to fulfill the Dark Lord's wishes?" 2.)"And will you, to the best of your ability, protect him from harm?" 3.)"And, should it prove necessary... if it seems Draco will fail will you carry out the deed that the Dark Lord has ordered Draco to perform?" Now as you know he agreed to each. The first one can still be broken because Voldemort may have other wishes for Draco to perform. The second vow, is the one I'm talking about. If he betrays Voldemort and Voldemort attacks Draco, especially in front of Snape, he will have to protect him or else he will die. Now 3 doesnt matter because that has been completed unless she was talking about something else but I'm sure she wasn't. |

On the contrary, I expect Draco to play a rather large part in the final book. He would seem very important given that Rowling devoted that whole scene to the conversation between him and Dumbledore. I'll bet you that she didn't write that just to take up pages. |

Possibly, the situation was just an on-the-moment thing. Dumbeldore wasn't THAT brilliant. And...I don't see how Dumbeldore's death would contribute to the series. |

That's a really good theory, it doesn't sound stupid at all, it makes a lot of sense. But I really can't see Snape turning to the good side because he is such a... Um... that's not a word I'm allowed to use on GameTalk. Anyway, the only ones more evil than Snape are Voldy and Umbridge. Yes, I called Voldemort "Voldy." I know how much he hates that. How about this: ... ...... ......... .................... ...... Lord Voldything! |

i think your rigth not about the snape thing but about the whole Draco thing. as i read the books i realized something. Rowlings never puts somthing in one of the books unless it is mant to be there. so why i agree that Draco(no matter how much we hate the Farret) is going to play a big prat in book 7 |
