Tip for Harry Potter Provided by: Sirkillme May 21, 2007 Concerns about the possibility of 8th HP book This tip is currently ranked 0.0 out of 5 by the first few voters. This isn't worth any gems... :P For those of you that have inquired about it, no there will not be an 8th book. There will never be. No there isn't a University for witches/wizards, and we don't even know which characters will be alive at the end of the 7th book. Rowling might write more little side books like Magical Creatures and Where to Find Them, but I assure you that there will be no more books in the original story arc. J.K. Rowling is probably the richest writer in history. She doesn't need to write more past Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. She's pretty much set for the rest of her life with the money she's made. Plus she still has the money from Harry Potter movies 5-7. I reapeat in unncecesary all caps, THERE WILL NEVER BE AN 8TH HARRY POTTER BOOK.

a writer, or a real writer, doesnt write for the sake of money, especially in JK's case. it isnt the fact that she has money that she would stop writing, no author can just put the pen down, it's what they do, not just "oh I have money, lets sit around and nothing for the rest of our lives." and why would she, in 30, 40, 1000000000000000 years time write a final final eighth harry potter book hmmm? I would have thought that she would produce an epilogue in her final book, detailing the wherabouts of the characters and all, and that is where that whole 'scar' word comes into effect. plus writing, (for of course charity purposes) she would probably do that whole encyclopedia thing just to wrap off the wizarding world as a whole, not harry's life specifically, before moving on to different books and series to write	kakster May 24, 2007 (364 days and 4 hours ago)
