his role may have been as big as kreacher's, but it wasn't as important. role size doesn't matter when it comes to role importance. when it comes to paring down the book to fit into a movie that won't make my fractured tailbone protest from having sat in the theater seat so long, what's important is given first priority.

Rowling can only demand so much, and anyway it is impossible to take a book as huge as OoTP and put it in a three hour movie. If they had doubled the movie length, they would have had to cut out far less.

But who watches a six hour movie?

OK, but remember we only see Kreacher in two scenes and he doesn't get a lot of screentime. All he does is complain about "Mudbloods and blood traitors", talk to the portrait of Mrs. Black, and get yelled at by Sirius. That's it. Mundungus could've appeared for Mrs. Figg to yell at him once. They could've only done that. Heck, they put Elphias Doge, Emmeline Vance, and Dawlish into the movie and they're slightly more minor characters than Mundungus

and let me get one thing straight. nobody on this site is writing the harry potter screenplays, so stop pretending like you are. the guy who actually is writing them is not only not on this site, he will not listen to wannabes from this site, so get over it.

Nobody said whoever writes screenplay was at this forum were simply saying that leaving mundungs out was just another error in the HP movie series which has only produced one movie that even came close to living up to the book

But Riddler is acting like s/he's giving Rowling advice on her own stuff like Rowling visits this page or something. Rowling has her own reasons for not including things, and we have absolutely no say in the matter, so we might as well not say it.
