Name: Lancer Onasi
Master: Sucasa
Rank: Jedi Master
Class: Sentinal
Age: 31
Ship: Alderaanian War Cruiser Enforcer
Weaponry: One Blue-White Bladed lightsaber (http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j118/LittleRower/Saber/B ueWhite.gif), one Red-Orange Bladed Lightsaber (http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j118/LittleRower/Saber/R dOrange-1.gif) and an antiquated (but still usable), bullet-using revolver.
Appearance: A slender Kel Dor 5' 9" in height, he wears Jedi robes, usually with the hood up, and these range in color from black to brown to grey to white. Because his physiology is geared towards the atmosphere on Dorin, the Kel Dor homeworld, he covers his mouth and silver eyes with a gas mask and goggles whenever he is in an atmosphere other than the one on Dorin. His lightsabers can be seen dangling from his belt.
Skills: Lancer has a number of skills he picked up while a fugitive from the Empire. He became quite skilled with disguises and being stealthy, along with blockade-running and forgery. He also is good at masking his presence in the Force, making it hard for others to sense him. In short, if you are on the run from someone and need a Jedi’s protection, Lancer is the ideal.
History: Lancer lived on Alderaan with two brothers who died when the planet was destroyed, and he and his father barely escaped because his father had a vision (his mother was working with the Rebellion). Later, a few weeks before the Battle of Hoth, they were tractored in by the newly completed Super class Star Destroyer Executer, which had the Emperor aboard. While they were being tractored in, Lancer's father had another horrible vision, so he told Lancer about the Force and that both Lancer's father and his mother had been Jedi Masters. When they were aboard the Executer, Lancer's father's vision came true, and Lancer was forced to watch as the Emperor personally executed his father. Before his father was dead, Lancer remembered what his father had told him about the Force, but the only example he had for using the Force was the Emperor. He drew on his anger as the Emperor was doing and sent out a powerful burst of Force Lightning out, killing his guards. The Emperor was too busy finishing Lancer's father off to do anything about it, so Lancer escaped in a Lambda class shuttle. He was hunted by the Empire for a year, and on Duro they planted a tracer on his ship. Lancer unwittingly led the Imperials to his mother, who was shot down on Tatooine (her body and ship were never recovered) and Lancer spent the next two years searching for her. His hatred increased and he became discouraged, but he was counseled by a Jedi Master on Dagobah. He then got a new identity and went to Coruscant.
Lancer spent several years on Coruscant, during which the Empire was brought down and a New Jedi Order established. He was trained by the Jedi Knight Sucasa, and lived on Taris for a while. During this time, Lancer traveled around the galaxy and somehow managed to become the target of three Sith: Sith Knights Redack, Askirlian, and Malas, with whom he had a number of battles. Malas, in particular, continued to harass Lancer for some time. Lancer also made many friends among the Jedi Order and even among the Sith, including the Jedi Apprentices Mae Sakura and Cowzman, the Jedi Knights Kilgon and Gurthok, the Jedi Master K1ddy, and the Sith Knight Androx. After a short while, he was given a great opportunity by Jedi Master Axem Steel, who offered him the position of second-in-command of the New Jedi Republic. Lancer worked hard for the NJR, recruiting two major planets, Bilbringi and Dorin, his homeworld.
Unfortunately, at what seemed to be the prime of his life, with a prestigious post at the NJR, the rapidly increasing push for his promotion to Jedi Master, and his rising fame and popularity, Lancer was revisited by the ghost of the old Emperor Palpatine. Though he survived the ordeal, he was greatly weakened and easy pickings for Darth Sicarious, better known as Malas, then a Sith Knight who would eventually rise to the position of Darklord and who could have defeated Lancer even if Lancer had been fresh. Sicarious left Lancer for dead, and for a month he lay comatose in the then-inactive temple at Yavin IV, as the rest of the galaxy presumed him dead. Fortunately, the Force revived Lancer, and he returned stronger than before.
Very soon afterwards, Lancer was elected to a position on the Jedi Council and given the rank of Jedi Master after he had been an active Knight less than three weeks (at that point the fastest ascent ever, though it has since been surpassed). In the following weeks, Lancer lost and regained his status as a Jedi Council Member multiple times, as continuing discontent among the Jedi called for new leadership. Lancer, however, never really cared too much about this, considering it his duty to serve as a Council Member if elected, but not aspiring for the office. Lancer was on the Council when the Jedi Order finally stabilized, and remained a member for some time. During this time, he also trained two Padawans fully, Neskital and Ferus Olin, and he trained many others to various extents. He also made more friends among the Jedi, most notably the controversial Jedi Master Bowen Darvelle, better known as Bandit.
Lancer engaged in a number of conflicts with Sith during his time as a Jedi Master, defeating several Sith and evil neutral Force-users, though he allowed most to live. One exception was Darth Spectar, who had declared Lancer his target during the Jedi Purge that then-Darklord Kira declared and who Lancer handily defeated in the streets of Coruscant. Lancer, however, soon became weary of the constant surges of the Sith and of bickering amongst the Jedi Council, and retired from public life, vanishing into the wilderness of Yavin IV.
This is not the end of Lancer’s story, for Lancer is yet young and has a future ahead of him. Feeling nostalgic for his days as a Jedi and starved for contact with other sentient beings, he recently reemerged from his long meditation in the jungles of Yavin IV, and there confronted and defeated two Sith in the Yavin IV Temple. He returned to the Jedi Training Tower in Coruscant, and, finding that seemingly deserted, headed for Taris, but he was sidetracked on Abregado-Rae, where he partnered with a detective named Rylan to stop the mounting crime wave. Now, however, Lancer is active once again, and he has already begun to work to help the Jedi, rescuing Jedi Master Ridifu Omega from Korriban and taking on several Padawans. In time, he hopes to rally the Jedi together and to greatly expand it.
