Coruscant- The Mission
|
Devic walked silently through the streets, he decided the best time for going into the the Temple would be early morning, because mainly everyone would be asleep except for bar patrons stumbling out of cantinas, only to return home to find their wives in bed with another man. Devic smirked at the thought, "It happens everyday, and yet, no one knows..." Devic said quietly and calmly. Devic would start covering his force presence now, as he bound up the steps. His cloak, dark as night, flowing eloquently behind him. His lightsaber dangling from his belt. He hoped this would be as easy as his Lord had made it sound. Devic walked through the lobby, his boots making a noise that echoed all around him. He made his way to the server room, which would be the best place to put the download the chip into. The area to the server room was locked. "Well, thats a pity." Devic thought. He pulled out his lightsaber and ignited it. The hum of the red blade was eerie in the blackness and silence, it made him smile. He thrust the blade on the bottom of the door and allowed the saber to climb its way up and around the door. He dis-ignited the blade and replaced it on his belt. Next Devic used force grip to lay the door down slowly, so not to alert anyone with the noise of a door crashing down. Devic walked into the room and placed the chip into one the computers there. The computer devoured it and the computer gave a slight hum and went silent just as suddenly. Devic ran out of the room and out towards the space port, he was getting out of there and heading back to Redack's mansion. Hopefully to good praise.

The Jedi Knight wiped his brow as he walked toward the steps of the Temple. As always they were challenging enough to awaken him and jump start his metabolism. He did not notice that minutes before an intruder had taken the liberty to invite himself into the Temple for a reason of an unknown sinister purpose. It was quite surprising that no one was able to notice the threat, however minimal it would seem at first. Richter looked up at the sky for a moment, and breathed an intoxicating odor. He had to shake his head re-establish himself. His bent his head back slightly above, and could not believe his eyes. The door was penetrated by a lightsaber, and it was eerie red no less. "Oh, of all the times!" To be sure, he was quite annoyed, but he calmed himself and ducked behind a pillar. He would get a look at the intruder and surprise from behind as he would leave. He watched as the intruder finished his work and used the Force to lay the door he had give surgery to slowly to belay a commotion. Richter hid himself skillfully, suppressing his Force alignment to seem neutral and weak. The Jedi Knight quickly recognized his face, for he had met with him before, even though the other did not know. He spoke under his breath. "Devic, eh? What are you up to mate?" When Devic passed him by, Richter noticed that he was heading for the space port. The Jedi sprang after him with Force Speed and quickly overtook him before cutting him off. "Okay chap, what are you up to?" |

Devic knew this job wouldn't be quite this easy. "None of your damn business..." Devic said bitterly as he walked around the man. He had no time for these childish games. He wasn't really looking for a fight either, he just wanted to get back to the mansion and possibly take a nap. Devic stopped. Something about this didn't feel right. "Why do you talk like to me like you know me?" Devic stood still. |

Richter figured that since Devic wanted to be a little rude, he would play a little coy. "Oh please. I do not damn business." As Devic attempted to walk through him, Richter felt something strange within himself, as if Devic awakened a part of him he was not aware of. "Easy mate. It isn't like I know thee well, but we have met before. Perhaps my memory serves me wrong once, as if we met on Dantooine, but I know for sure we have met somewhere else. Thou douth not recall?" Richter waved his right hand laterally as he spoke, being somewhat of a habit while speaking. There was no intention behind besides it. |

Devic was slightly annoyed now, all he wanted was to leave Coruscant before anymore Jedi found him. "Look, I'll take your word for it, all I want to do is leave. Can't you understand that?" Devic uncovered his force presence, perhaps he would scare him away. "See? Im a little annoyed, angry and tired. If there is a point to this, tell me now, or else Im leaving." Devic scowled at the man, proving his anger. |

((Done quickly. Sorry for any typos or such.)) Desra Lodet, a current Jedi Master had returned from Tatooine not too long ago. Deciding that perhaps Master Kiddy had something for her to do, she made her way to the Coruscant temple. Only to sense a lightsider and darkside nearby. Both familiar. But she couldn’t tell quite yet. Following an invisible trail to where she sensed the two beings, she found herself near the spaceport and looking at an apparent discussion between Lancer’s former padawan, Richter. As well her own former padawan, gone darkside Zekk. Or…was it Zakk? She was unsure; he went by Devic now anyways. So it didn’t matter. Deciding that a Jedi and a Sith talking, probably wouldn’t end in a handshake. So she thought to step forward to them as well. ”Devic, what’s a Sith doing here?” She wore her usual robes, and had two lightsaber hilts underneath her sash. Using her right hand she brushed some of her brown hair from her eyes and awaited an answer from Devic. Though she acknowledged Richter, she didn’t really do it in any physical manner. Great. Things keep getting better and better. "Hey there beautiful, Im just enjoying the night sky, what about you? What happened to Gray Jedi Paradise, AKA Dxun? But, you've caught me at a bad time, Im leaving." Devic began smirking at her. She always did show up at bad times in his life. Or he would show up on her when there was nothing to do, either way, they have been seeing each other a little more than either of them wanted to. Devic looked up and down Desra's body. She really was a beautiful girl. "I promise we'll go for a candle lit dinner some other time...oh and by the way, I believe this is forbidden, you know? Like Romeo and Juliet sorta thing?" Devic grinned and began to walk back to his small fighter. |

“But that makes all the more exciting. I wouldn’t want a relationship without a little…excitement.” She smirked at Devic’s comments. Turning and leaving Richter behind, she called back to Richter. ”I suggest thoroughly checking wherever he just went.” Though she then followed Devic, and made sure she wasn’t exactly up against him but she wasn’t necessarily far either. Being about a meter and a half away, she was going to follow him to his ship. Use Psychometry on it while he wasn’t looking, and learn of Devic’s recent activities. She always did like to learn. So why not use an ability that granted her that very wish? |

"Heh. Well, I can promise you that honey, I'll let you find out one day, maybe IF your lucky and a bad girl, maybe." Devic laughed and walked off toward his small fighter. "Beautiful and funny, but, unfortunately, a Jedi, which ruins everything." Devic thought to himself as he hopped in his fighter and ignited the engines, ready to get back to Redack and The Home. |

She said nothing more, and waited for him to step up onto his ship. With that she planted her right hand on his ship, and focused on Psychometry. She read the ship’s entire history, but the only thing that truly interested her was watching the ship make contact with Redack, though she could see nothing beyond the fact that Devic had visited Redack at some point. Due to her reading the ship’s memories, and not Devic’s. But it was enough for her, removing her hand from the ship now she backed away from it, so she wouldn’t be caught in anything when it lifted on. ”Well, seems like Devic’s been busy.” ((I wanted to speak to you about the Mandalorians, Torso. But never mind now, I decided against my first intention.)) |
