Well, it'd send a different message. It'd be your basic action/sci-fi macho guy kinda story. And the "good endings" would be a bit more...uncomfortable to watch (for the majority of gamers, anyway). |

It wouldn't really make a difference. The heriosm would be intact, assuming the guy is as serious in what he does as Samus. |

I don't see why people compare Halo to Metroid. Halo is way more similar to Doom. |

In Doom, you fighting Demons from H*** trying to kill you and take over Earth. In Halo, your trying to stop the Covenant from activating all the Halos and wipeing all life from the face of the galaxy. Doom isn't that far in the future, while Halo and Metroid are WAY in the future. Halo is more comparable to Killzone. |

It's more comparable to Doom than Metroid. Guy Marine, holding gun in hands rather than arm cannon, first person shooter. |
