Three things: 1. It's spelt Spartan. 2. The main charachter from Halo is Master Cheif (John 117). 3. There is no evidence to back up your claims. Very fanboy/girl like. |

I'll make some reasons.. Samus is more expierienced... Samus has a gun grafted into her arm. Samus is a lone BP. Just a few... heck a stupid beetle from tallon IV could rip "master cheif" a new one. |

How about this: NOTHING in the Metroid universe can kill Samus in one hit (unless you're deliberately skimping on Energy Tanks). Heck, she can leap right into a laser designed to blast through a planet's crust and only lose a couple energy tanks (with a max of 14). A well-placed headshot with a pistol can kill Master Chief. The combined Plasma/Ice/Wave/Wide Beam can do a little more than that (pass through walls, have a radius as tall as a human, unlimited ammo). And we have the Screw Attack and Speed Boost, both of which Samus is almost completely invincible while performing (not to mention make her far faster and more agile than the Chief could hope to be). So yeah, I'll go with Samus, with very little difficulty. |

All Samus needs to do is lower the Cheif's sheilds then Blast him into oblivion with a Super Missle. I think Samus would cream Master Cheif (Unless by any Fluke he had the Scarab Gun). But it's a different story with Nicole: http://tinyurl.com/39yyr3 |

I recently saw a fan made custom video combining Samus and Master chief fighting together. It was awesome! Of course in that version Master Chief was female. Still, very nice video. |

That was Nicole. And Master Cheif is not as fast or strong as Nicole. |

Well placed rounds add a bit of challenge and skill to a video game, something which Metroid fails to deliver in. A more mature, sophisticated game would not be so forgiving when you step into a laser. |

Metroid 2 for the GameBoy wasn't forgiving at all. (Blast those Zetas!) |

Hurley, have you played a Metroid game? Because I'd love to see a first-timer get through Metroid Prime's Phazon Mines without dying. Not to mention the majority of the series doesn't resemble Halo's gameplay in the slightest and really can't be compared. Plus, as the Councilor implied, calling Metroid 1, 2, or Echoes easy is laughable. Thanks for reviving a 20 day old topic (revolving around the CHARACTERS fighting) to bash one of the series. |

LAWL@URFASE. Sparton. I'm still laughing. I can't even come up with anything witty to counter your five-year-old's response. Erm, right... to win would to jump into canon, and I'd have to say that both are pretty even. How long has this fight been going on? Why does anyone care still? To tell the truth, I sympathize with those who bring themselves closer to mortality, instead of those who would be super awesome with ludicrous weapons. Spartans? Fantastical. Great warriors, and they die. Ms. Samus? Lame. But in this unending battle, we know the only victor. Chuck Norris prevails. |
