1) Do not keep on posting to become a moderator. Surely if you have applied and have a overall good record in the forum. Then you have a really good chance of becomming a moderator.

2) Bad reputations can always be fixed. If you dont think you have what it takes to be a moderator. Dont give up and try harder.

3) No matter how bad you want to be a moderator. Do not beg to be one. Everyone wants to be one these days and everyone has the same chance of being a moderator of the forum you are in than you.

4) In the forum you are in, do not over post just so it looks like you are active there. GT wants moderators who posts "Tips" and are helpful to the Gametalk community.

5) Nominating someone to be a moderator at a Forum at "Mod Q and A" will not raise there chances of being a moderator. 85% of the time this occurs, it is the same user nominating himself under a different GT name.

6) Be patent, sure this moderator applying takes a long time. But the one who waits the longest and does not have a short fuse will be the winner. Patience is a virtue

7) Do not over react if your not chosen to be a moderator at the current forum. Be nice and polite, also try harder to be a moderator in a different forum or be Co-Mod in the forum.

8) Do not make posts in this Forum saying "When will I be chosen for mod" or "I havent got my email yet". Your email will come if you are chosen.

9) If you must, make a post saying "Ive applied for moderator. I am happy to wait for your approval of me. "Ha! Surly nobody will ever say this lol, Plain out suck up".

10) SUCKING UP TO MIKE,GT STAFF WILL NOT WORK!

I have posted this because I am sick and tired of people talking about some of the things above. This should shed some light for all of you.
