Well, they said dead man's chest was too long, but superman was longer, right? Doesn't make sense, they're a bit two faced arent they. Anyways, the reason people who go to movies as critics didn't like POTC becacuse it was "too long" those kind of peole, have to find something in the movie that was bad, whatever is bad about the movie they use against it, overlooking everything that was so good. Superman didn't have enough action? I never saw it, but i don't see how that is such a bad thing. Really critics only like movies iwth gays, bad acting, horrible special effects, bad stunts, horrible cgi, bad plot, depressing movies are good!, and other stuff, if it follows that guideline, that movie is winning an oscar. There have been acceptions, but usually that's how it is, Brokeback mountain at the oscars? C'mon, well, prolly cuz it was democratic, that's the thing with dead man's chest, it's republican. But yeah, don't listen to alot of critics, they're usually crap. Go see Pirates of the carribean. It's a good fun movie. |

I didn't overlook the good aspects of the movie. I just didn't think there were too many good aspects to the movie. I've already given many reasons why I didn't like the movie. You misunderstand though. A lot of us don't go into the movie as critics. I went into the movie, I figured it'd be kinda lame and not as good as the first, but I had some hope. After I watched it, I was like, "That movie was so bad, and here are my reasons for thinking that." I don't have a problem with the length of movies, though some times the movie does feel dragged out and it feels really long, and if that happens, that's when the length becomes a negative. The problem was, it was a bad long movie. If it were a good long movie, then the long part would have not been counted as a bad. |

me 2 i dont have problems with long movies like lord of the rings it drags on some parts especially all those elvish talkes and stuff but it makes it up 4 good action |
