From what I understand, it's a television show that is basically just an elaboration of the Clone Wars cartoon show that was on Cartoon Network. If you watch that series, you will notice that this upcoming series is basically the same art style, just CGI instead of hand drawn. And while I don't much care for the Clone Wars at all, nor that style of art, the Cartoon Network show did have many awesome moments. |

Yah I enjoyed the Clone wars miniseries. I didn't particularly enjoy the pointed look and everyone was a size 0 waist but art isn't everything. I keep hearing its a film and its going to be in theaters but these could be rumors or course. If what I saw is as you say then I can understand completely why it looks the way it does. I mean for a full length feature it looks like utter garbage yes, but a weekly series it looks decent. Thank you. |

It's both. The feature-length film was originally (if I recall correctly) the Season Premere for the TV series, but instead they decided to extend it and release it in theaters. I gotta say, although I think they've screwed up the characters' looks in some places (Yoda in particular) anything with a million look-alikes (clones, droids, ships) look simply stellar. If it measures up to its parent series, it'll be great. (not that the bar is all that high for SW films in a post-Phantom Menace/Attack of the Clones world...) |

I found Phantom quite enjoyable, mostly because it wasn't as exaggerated and it didn't have a love story which made no sense and was stupid. You'd think that if Jedi can read into minds, they'd know that Anakin is fucking the president of a planet. |

Genndy Tartakovsky has a small place in my heart for having created such wonderful things as the original Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack. From there I was able to really enjoy his Clone Wars miniseries....plus some fights were just plain badass anyway. No idea about this movie or w/e. |
