did i miss the chemical thrower?

i am currently in Arcadia and the past few vending machines i have ran across contain the liqiod nitrogen and the other one... i dont remember what it was.... but anyhow.... i keep coming across this stuff and i do not have a chemical thrower. did i miss picking it up in another level or is there some kidn of diffrent way of getting it?

The Chemical thrower is found on a table in the middle of that female professor's Lab. (forgot her name) You get there when Ryan makes the trees die. You'll get an objective to get a certain rose and when you bring it to the lab entrance you will be allowed to enter it. |

I don't think you passed it.. Its in plain site when you come across it.. Plus it highlights.. Its laying on the womans desk.. |
