Heart Pieces before even leaving Clock Town:
#1: On the Clock Tower. Get the Moon’s Tear, trade it to the scrub for his flower, and fly over to it.
#2: Go to North Clock Town, and fly across to the fenced in area using the Deku flower. Play the game on all three days, and win each time to get a piece of heart. Afterwards, all the managers of the game will say is ‘Eek! Here comes (your name)! Hide!’
#3: Climb the slide in North Clock Town and jump over to the tree for the heart.
#4: Go to the Postman’s house in north West Clock Town, and he will give you a challenge. Tap A, then wait exactly ten seconds, tap A again. If you’re right on, the heart is yours.
#5: Right next to the Postman’s house is the Swordsman’s school. Lock on to each log and slice it in half with a jump attack to get a piece of heart.
#6: Store 5,000 rupees in the ‘bank’ and you get a piece of heart. The easiest way to do this is to keep killing the bird who steals your stuff. Each time you kill him, you get an orange rupee (200 rupees).
#7: Dance for the ladies in West Clock Town (at night) while wearing Kamaro’s Mask to get a piece of heart.
#8: If you go into the rooms above the Stockpot Inn, you will eventually find the lavatory. If you go at the right time, a hand will pop out and ask for a piece of paper. Trade a deed to one of the Deku flowers for the piece.
#9: Win the bomb challenges at Honey and Darling’s shop on all three days.
On your way to Woodfall:
#9: Trigger the cutscene with the Akindo nut telling you to get away from his flower, then head to the observatory. Witness the nut going back for more supplies to his hole outside the observatory. Get into the hole via going back to clock town, then out, and the Akindo will sell you a piece of heart for 100 rupees. (Note: he offers 150 first. Refuse, he drops his price to 100. Refuse again, he leaves to find a new hiding spot.)
#10: In southwest Terminia field, find the Deku Baba. Near it is a hidden hole. Inside, defeat a peahat, and you get a piece of heart.
#11: In North Terminia field, find the hole with two Dodongos in it. Defeat both, and another piece is yours.
#12: On the second or third day, go to Romani Ranch, go to the doggie racetrack, and bet on the dogs. If your winning total 150 rupees or more, you get a piece heart as well. (Note: you can get the Mask of Truth, talk to the dogs, and find which one will win.
#13: In the section between the swamp and Terminia field, there is a giant tree with lots of bats living in it. Run around as a Deku Scrub, get the bats to follow you, then lock on and shoot them with your bubbles. Then climb the tree to get the heart.
#14: Get the Land Title Deed from the Clock Town Akindo Nut, and trade it to the one on in the swamp. He will give the title to his flower. Fly to the roof and collect yet another piece.
#15: After saving Koume, but before getting on the boat ride, talk to the burly man in the brown vest. He gives you a pictograph box. Take a picture of the Deku King (while he’s looking down, not crowing to the ceiling), and you get a piece of heart from the man.
#16: Enter past the Deku guards, but take a left. Remain undetected, and you will find a piece of heart at the end. (Note: easier to do this at night, as you can see where the guards are looking).
#17: In the southwest corner of the area where you awake the Woodfall Temple, there are two elevated stumps. Defeat the Mad Scrubs, and claim your prize in the treasure chest at one end.
After Woodfall Temple, before Snowhead Temple (Goron Mask required for #21):
#18: Get a perfect score with the Hero’s Bow at the Clock Town shooting gallery. Harder than most.
#19: After completing the Woodfall Temple and saving Koume, you can try shooting at targets on the boat ride. 20 hits gets you a piece of heart.
#20: Get the land title deed for the swamp, then take it to the Akindo Nut to your right when you enter the Goron Village area. Trade the deed, and fly to the heart piece.
#21: Go to the treasure chest shop and play as Goron Link. Once the game starts, change back into Link and put on the bunny hood.
After Snowhead, before Great Bay Temple (Zora Mask required #22, #23):
#22: Destroy the boulder outside the entrance to the Great Bay area in Terminia Field. Inside, you’ll find two Bio Deku Babas. Kill both, then shoot down the beehive at the other end of the cavern. Swim down as Zora Link to collect it.
#23: Defeat Goht, get the Zora mask and swim to the bottom of the lake where you found the Father Goron to get yet another piece of heart.
#24: Trade the land title deed from the mountains to the Akindo Nut with the flower near the Oceanside laboratory. Fly to the roof for a piece of heart.
