This forum is for the free talk and discussion of the Nintendo DS as well as the games. If a Nintendo DS game already has a forum on the quicklinks (MARIO KART), discuss that game there rather than here (any such posts will be removed). If repeated offenses occur, you will be banned.

Flaming another forum-goer is a given ban. An obvious rule, but also one of the most ignored.

Another important rule is no advertising. This is actually a global gametalk rule, meant to protect users from certain links. Each mod is allowed to enforce this differently or not at all, at their own discretion. Both Spell and myself take this rule seriously.

Only one off-topic post per day, you can talk about the DS all you like, but if you want to talk about other things and a DOP was already made, either reply to that post with what you want to talk about or just go to the pointless forum.

Finally, there won't be any linking to an off-site forum, as this would be a form of advertisement. This includes all the invisionfree, proboard, or similar sites popping up. First offense is a warning and the deletion of your post, after than you can expect name to even IP bans for upwards to a month.
