I would say yes, because just the effects of the comet/meteorite alone drastically changed life on Earth, so if it was full of radiation, the surviving animals would adapt to the effects or die out. So then we would have maybe (dunno, random guess) rats immune to poison because their ancestors had to be immune to radiation. See what I'm saying? New breeds, new hazards. |

This is always a fun questions. It basically says, if we change something in the past how does that change the present. The big what if question. Here are a few other fun ones. What if the American colonial revolt failed? What if the Jewish religion never occurred? What if Egypt became the central power and not Rome? What if all the advanced inventions of the ancient world were never lost and instead fostered a industrial revolution centuries earlier? |
