Personally, I think dropping an ATOMIC bomb was pure stupidity. I can deal with them dropping a bomb, but not an atomic one. After all, have unborn children become communists all ready? How about the ones three generations after WWII? Are they guilty of killing Jews? Think, USA, think. |

It was a tactic by the americans, so that they could take advantage of using the japanese to basically make stuff for them in the years to come (By basically controlling any military they have)...and it was also a tactic by americans to scare the Russians. The only lives dropping the bomb saved were american lives, and Japan only has a tiny island to begin with...Okay, lets use "common sense" and drap a radiation-causing bomb on the tiny island to screw over future generations too! |

Who cares about their future generations? It was just two citys anyway. Had that not been done, we wouldn't know the effects of an atomic bomb after a period of time on a living city. I personally think we should still use them. It scares nations into surrendering, which could save a lot of time and lives-our lives anyway, which is all that really matters. Who cares about them honestly? Why? |

if you care about the japs so much, know that an invasion would have killed dozens of millions of them. the bombs killed 300,000 |

Both of those bombed cities are amazingly huge now a days, and apart from that the Fire Bombing of Dresden killed more than both of the bombs put together, so why doesn't anyone complain about that? |
