Most one-sided battle of all time won by the outnumbered?
|
We all know the Spartans lost Thermopolae, and that Hannibal kicked some serious Roman ass, but really: what do you think was the most one-sided battle of all time won by the outnumbered force?

Not really, what deaths are you counting. As far as the war in Iraq is concerned, we aren't fighting the grass roots of terrorism we have simply stationed our troops in the middle of the civil war. |

The Battle of Mogadishu, Somaila, in October 1993 or alternatively the battle of bastogne, where easy company of the US forces were completely surrounded, low on supplies and lacking heavy tanks and Air power, they held the town for almost two weeks until they were relieved. |

i wud suggest the battle of agincourt, altough the exact numbers of combatants is unclear, i say it was about 6,000 for the English and 36,000 for the French. The English did pretty well- 112 dead, unknown amount wounded. Against 7,000-10,000 (mostly killed) frenchmen, and the English took about 1,500 noble prisoners |
