presumably, who else wud have carried the crosses? carrying the crosses was probably part of the punisment to so they probably did. |

woops misread question, truth is don't know, if the criminals died around the same time as jesus we cna guess they did. |

Since we don't actually have historical evidence of this event, the typical belief is that yeah, they did. I'm pretty sure it's not mentioned in the Bible, but given the times they would have. They wouldn't have been nailed like Jesus (of course, he would have been roped to the cross first, and nailed second.) |

Each person had to carry a cross as punishment for Sinning, or disobeying God in any way. So they hung them on it to teach them a lesson, and then they killed them. |
