Tip for Diablo II Expansion: Lord of Destruction Provided by: dark-newbie Aug 1, 2005 ATTENTION: Info on the new 1.11 quest This tip is currently ranked 2.8 out of 5 by a whole lot of voters! dark-newbie has earned 3 gems! OK, this quest is really long but really rewarding. It involves many steps: Step 1: THE KEYS There are 3 different keys, dropped by 3 different monsters in Hell games. The Couness, the Summoner and Nihlatak all have roughly 3% chance of dropping a key. You have to collect the 3 different keys - do many runs and you will get them eventually. Step 2: THE BODY PARTS Once you have 3 keys, you transmute them with cube in Harrogath to open a red portal. This portal will send you RANDOMLY to one of the 3 "uber-bosses": Andy (Lilith), Duriel and Izual. When you kill a boss, he will drop one of the 3 body parts. Note: since the portal is random, you will need to use AT LEAST 3 of every key type, usually more, to get the 3 body parts. STEP 3: UBER-TRISTRAM Transmute the 3 body parts, and you will get a red portal to uber-tristram, where you will have to fight the 3 borthers (Meph Diablo and Baal) in their more powerful versions. Try to get some friends with you, you will need all the help u can get =) REWARD: Hellfire Torch large charm, unique. good info this explains allot thx. me and some ls buds got to the 3x keys part fought durial, we were in the process or getting a 2nd and 3rd set of keys. another thing is we were one of the first to figure out where the keys were so i for one sold mine for hella lot lol. anyway thats my story. ps. i hope they dont make that charm non tradable like anni.	losthopes Aug 2, 2005 (1018 days and 13 hours ago)

ok for everyone who does not know about the standard of heroes and the hellfire torch listen up. in order to get the standard of heroes u need to beat all of the bosses in Uber-Tristram. The last boss u kill will drop the standard of heroes. place 3 standard of heroes in your horadric cube and hit transmute. You should be looking at the hellfire torch. the torch varies on different skills from +0-6 to a certain skill and a 25% chance of casting a diablo firewall upon attack.	montogba Aug 16, 2005 (1004 days and 8 hours ago)

The countess only drops the Terror key, you then have to get the d-key and the hate key. one you get from the summoner in the arcane sanctuary and the other from nat in the halls of pain.	DDOGG_069 Oct 20, 2005 (939 days and 10 hours ago)
ok, im sure you guys know everything about the keys, and the organs. you probably know that the portals can all be made in the same game in order to save you time in having to get 2 of the same organ. BUT, you dont know that the standard of heros is not just a totem showing you either have it, or have beaten uber trist. What it does is save you experience when killed by the ubers. When you die in hell, you lose exp, but with the SOH in inv, when u get ur body, you get ALL of the experience back that you had lost.	ACEscorpion Dec 6, 2005 (892 days and 1 hours ago)
i got a question: got the 3 keys, sitting in act 5, hell, with matriach title over my head, but the portal won't open. The only thing i can think of, it's a LAN character, not online. The torch, and anni are both tradeable, the anni must have been enabled in last patch, I have traded many in window... torch stats are +3 to random Characters' skills, not 0-6 to any random skills and 3 SOH do NOT transmute to a torch, have tried and tested...nada I don't seem to lose much experience after corpse retrieval but it's more like 75% back, NOT all back!
