need help with (mad?) usb controller
|
Hi! i've ff8 installed sucessfully in my cmputer, and i wanna play it with my usb Logitech wireless pad. But when i enter the game, it seems to be pressed the -up- and -right- keys, so it's impossible to play. i've checked my win xp controller setup, and there says there are no keys pressed. Tried with another controller and it works (badly, but it works) In fact, it does only happen with ff8... could anyone help me? there's maybe one patch for it... Thanks! Pd: my email adress is adding @gmail.com to my nickname, thanks

Logitech pads seem to cause problems. I used to have a wired one (I think it was "Precision Pro"... modeled after the PS2 controller), and the left analog stick was always trouble. If the Logitech software will let you, then you could try disabling the problematic keys/joysticks. Otherwise, you'll have to [a] check Logitech's site for a patch, or [b] use a different gamepad. |
