Need help on error

I have this error when timber party goes to sleep and starts dreaming about laguna then after laguna and his party meet a monster, the game just crashes.. i tried reinstalling the game, playing it on lo-res, refining off cards, still won let me go through.. any help would be greatly appreciated! ^_^

Ok, I noticed the info you put in the other thread. You'll need to find one of two (or maybe/probably both) patches. AMD processors didn't exist when FF8 came out, so you might need a patch for that. Also, you will probably need a patch for your video card, if low-res/software-render isn't cutting it. |

sigh.... i cant find any patches for amd processor T_T guess i have to give up the game :,( |

Well, not being able to find it isn't the end of the world. It might not even be the cause. Try running it in a Windows 98 compatibility mode, if you haven't already. That might help, though I don't know. |
