Well, here it goes. I've started playing this a few weeks back and I've grown to be addicted to this game. I've just reached Disc 4 but whenever I reach the part where Seifer tries to combine Rinoa and Adel, the game crashes and I would be forced to close it.

I've read and tried several methods to fix this but have failed... :(

I have applied the nVidia patch. I have tried using the FF8Config to change my graphics into Software Renderer and also tried using Low Resolution as well as changing the compatibility to Windows 98. I have also refined the Bite Bug, Red Bat and Gayla cards.

Whenever I use Low Resolution, the game freezes just before the cut-scene where Seifer forces Rinoa down. It's like, they're talking and then they stop moving.

When I use High Resoluting, I am able to see the cut-scene but only up to the part when Rinoa falls down. Then the game crashes and I'm forced to quit.

Please help, I'm eager to finish this. Thank you!
