Person and Time

If the time's stuck there, try going to another save file, reloading from before the flashback, and seeing if the time will progress beyond 9:59. You can also try varying your battle strategy, but I'll not get into the reasons for that. 'Nuff said, it might work. Also, what're your CPU, GPU, and OS? |

Yea I've got exactly the same problem. The game timer is stuck at 99:59 (I think it was like that when the game started) which is probably why it doesn't progress. Changing battle strategy doesn't work coz it crashes before the battle begins (when the monsters cry sound plays). I've tried loading from a previous save point and playing up to that point but the same thing happens. Apart from an insane amount of gil and a lot of random items the games worked fine so far. I'm running a single core P4 1.7Ghz with XP and ATI Radeon X300. Thanks! |

Timer shouldn't be an issue; someone else who used to frequent this board played through with the timer run all the way up, and no issues. Did you try the other tips, about card-refining? |

From my experience, only the Bite Bug, Gayla, and Red Bat cards are buggy. Also, what operating system are you using? |

Well, that's pretty weird, then. I've never had any problems, and I've never heard of Gil being an issue. I'd suggest looking into a patch for your video card. ATI didn't used to require it (I used an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000), but given that they were bought by AMD, they might have changed how they do things. |
