when buying GW

ok i've played WoW ( cool game ) Diablo ( nice ) Diablo II with expansion ( sweet, wish there was more ) and i've been wanting to buy a new game. i've thought about City or Heros good vs Evil edition ( the first CoH with the City of villeins expansion ) but i for some reason got attracted to GW and i've decided to buy it but only ONE thing now. is Guild Wars, Factions, and NightFall all the same game but different or are they all Expansions to Guild Wars? do i HAVE TO buy Guild Wars to play Factions and NightFall or i can just buy which ever one?

they are all stand alone games meaning you can buy and play any of them without buying another. they are not expansions to one another |

Nightfall, gets you new armors to buy, and 2 new classes, Paragon, and Dervish, Good characters. Factions has 5-6 Characters too choose from. Eye of the north is enw armor and quests, and different heros. And Phrophecies is...Not worth buying. If u buy it, HAVE FUN!! ;D |
