Not to ask, it's giving it out that's illegal. So asking's just a waste of time. The code is on the back of the cd case so look there. If you've lost that try contacting EA games technical support and see what they say. |

why do they even have to make up the codes? Now THAT is a waste of time. It's stupid, and it will make people want to play it lesser, and lesser. |

Some games have them for site registration to make sure no one can take your account. But some game companys put them on there so they won't lose money from people who buy one game and install that same game on everybody else's. There are some games that have serial codes that are totally locked so they can only be registered onto one computer IP address. And some games also have it for theft. So if you're game case along with the CD gets stolen and you've installed it you can use your serial code so the police can track where that serial code is being used. Since all the Harry Potter games I've seen aren't totally locked, their serial code is for site registration and theft. So it's still illegal. |
