Hi.

Some of you might know of this...and will then post replies calling me a noob..or nube or noobister ...or whatever...but please save it cause it dont bug me. And also I'm sure your moms told you when you were kids..."If you have nothing nice to say then..."

This tactic is for nightelf. Basically if the game has got to a medium length game and you have some extra cash then take a wisp and do the following. First find out where your enemies base is, then go to the nearest site to his base where there were creeps. He has obviously been there and killed them and the site is probably, as usual in a corner of trees where he wont go again as he will be off creeping somewhere else. Now ehen you know where his base is, take on wisp or if youhave enough money take more than one...four or five is great. Then go to that area where the creeps where and build ancient protectors there. When they are finished building, and you are read to attack, up root them and let them walk into his base and plant them side by side in a line. a good idead is to build some moonwells maybe three or four in the same place where you built the protectors. Now if during your attack he seems to be winning the battle retreat and he wont be able to follow you cause then the protectors will be left to destroy his base. Run to the wells heal A.S.A.P. and then go straight back to his base and continue the onslaught.

THis strat is great for a few reasons. 1. if he has a higher level hero than you, you can still win cause it wont help him being higher level if his base is attacked by surprise and damaged beyond repair. 2.While the first group of protectors are laying siege you can have lined up the next few to enter again after. Maybe start building them as soon as the first group have uprooted and left for the first attack. 3.If you find your base under attack, and the protectors have already been built near his you just send them in, and if you built them close enough he will have to retreat. 4. If building them close to his base goes unnoticed then you can, try sneak in two or three more. Using the Priestess Of The Moon, to scout sothat you know where he is while doing this will be a great idea. 5. If you get 4-5 Protectors into his base, along with a reasonably sized army, he will have to b very good and you very bad for his base to come out at least half as well off as it was before.

OK OK OK OK all those old pros reading this are probably tearing their hair outright now, saying "Aaw, i knew that years ago"...but i keep in mind that there are new people playing W3 everday and you too were once a Noob,nube...nubister.
