Not sure, but it seems the spelling only appears incorrect to Internet Explorer users. Use FireFox, and it's spelled "Pokémon", as normal. |

It's not just Internet Explorer, Yahoo has it incorrect as well. I don't know about any others, though. I'm not sure why it's mispelled either, sorry. |

It's a formatting error. When the site got upgraded a while ago, something got slightly changed, and now some browsers won't display the "é." Thus, "i" is substituted. It's kind of like when you don't have a certain language downloaded, and all you can see are squares. |
