I get the feeling that if I had grown up with Digimon the way I did with Pokemon, then I would like it equally or maybe even more. Since I grew up loving Pokemon, I like it much better, but I still have a great respect for Digimon and all fans out there.

Actually, I'm probably more of a Kirby fan that even Pokemon, but that's beside the point.

I'm strange in that I grew up loving both Digimon AND Pokemon. I sort of juggled them. I actually remember resorting to videotaping episodes when they both appeared on the same timeslot.

I think I got a good balance. Digimon has a great show, but terrible videogames...

I have to disagree about the Digimon games, maybe the spin - off's such as "Battle Arena" and "Digital Card Battle" were terrible but i thought the proper "Digimon World" RPG's for the PSONE were fantastic.

Excuse me, Digimon was made in 1994. Pokemon was in 1997. Digimon was manga so it was not so commercialized unlike pokemon who started as a card game and a tv show.

Pokemon actually started in 1996 as a videogame. The cards and show came later.
