Help with celestial weapons, crests, and sigils...

Ok I need help getting the celestial weapons, the crests, and the sigils. So far I have godhand and masamune for weapons. Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, and Venus crests. I have no sigils. So if you could help with the stuff I don't have I'd be really grateful.

There are 12 Replies:

You need only get the celestial weapon for those main members of your party. I never got Onion Knight. but I will reccomend Riku's Godhand as it has the "Gillionaire" ability attached.

You may already know this, But once you get a Certain Characters Celestial Weapon, you know how to power up your Celestial weapons don't you??..

If you don't, Well You'll probably notice it will possess nothing more than the No AP ablity, so its pretty useless.. Once you have a Characters Celestial Weapon and their Crest//Sigil you need to return to the Glowing Crystal at the Woods, were you changed the Cloudy Mirror into the Celestial Mirror, you will need to do it twice. if you have collected both Crest and Sigil for a Certain Characters Weapon..

In My opinion, Its always better to have both crest//sigil , or at least the Crest, you need to show the crest to it first, don't worry it will still have the No Ap ability, but it will now have Double Overdrive, Once you show it the Sigil power on :P . You will need to do this with all your characters weapons...

Getting the crests for certain characters weapons also helps your Aeons "Break Damage Limit" Your more powerful Aeons like Bahamut, Anima, and the Magus Sisters, don't need weapons and crests to break the damage limit, because they can already break the damage limit once you get them of course :P.

Those that do need the "Crest" to power up your weapons, that will cause them to do over 9,999 damage if the Aeons stat's will allow it..

    Example.

  • .

    Valefor, Yuna's Nirvana..Moon Crest..

    Ifrit, Wakka's World Champion...Jupiter Crest..

    Ixion, Kimahri's Spirit Lance..Saturn Crest..

    Shiva, Lulu's Onion Knight...Venus Crest..

    Yojimbo, Auron's Masamune...Mars Crest...

You don't need to have them equpped, just having them is fine...

Now for the Sigils Once they are Equipped Mind..Your Celestial Weapons are unique...

  • .

Tidus's Caladbolg...Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, Evade And Counter, Magic Counter..

Yuna's Nirvana.. Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, Double AP, One MP Cost..

Auron's Masamune..Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, First Strike, Counter Attack.

Wakka's World Champion.. Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, Double AP, Evade And Counter..

Kimahri's Spirit Lance...Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, Double AP, Evade And Counter..

Lulu's Onion Knight...Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, Magic Booster, One MP Cost..

Rikku's Godhand...Break Damage Limit, Triple Overdrive, Double AP, Gillionaire..

As you can see, They all have near enough the same abilities.apart from a few having that little Xtra special one, for each character ..

Break Damage Limit, Obviously this enables your character to exceed 9,999 damage,to an enemy, as long as your characters stats are high enough of course.. This works with physical and magical attacks...

Triple Overdrive.. It will help your characters overdrive gauge fill up three times faster than normal..

Double AP..Those who have it will gain twice the AP after a Battle...

Evade And Counter:..when your character is attacked by a physical attack, they will evade it and quickly counter back with a physical attack of their own, dont be suprised if this attack does more damage than normal. you wont lose a turn either...

First Strike.. As it says on the Tin... Your character will always have the first turn in battle.

    Great Against Malboros..

Gillionaire, One of my Favs...Works brilliant in the Omega ruins against Mimics, you can mass Gil with this, It doubles the Gil earned after you win a battle.

Magic Booster... When using magic attacks, the attack is more powerful, than normal causing more damage to the Enemy..

One MP Cost, Any of your attacks that require using MP will only cost 1 MP. its good especially if you like using Lulu and Magic....

Magic Counter, Pretty near enough the same as Counter Attack, but when hit with a magic attack this time .....

I must admit its still pretty much makes me nervous everytime I do it, but I went MAD with the Chocobo racing and cursed million of times during the Butterfly.

There is a trick to do the 200 bolts. There is one crater in the land that when you go in there, it is almost certain lightning will strike. Just come out circle back, go to the crater, prepare to press X, and then just repeat.

The Butterfly and the Racing game was annoying, but i have to agree the Lightning Dodge takes first place for me.

It still rings a small bell in my skull...Im sure it was Re Designed and Re-Programmed by someone at Square who was having a Bad day that day or worships Satan. And thought "ahh to heck with it" An on-screen counter would make it too easy..

FFX-2's Calibration Towers mini game comes close, Geez i spent hours on that thing.
