I don't think it's stupid. Nobody said that Kingdom Hearts was just like Final Fantasy, King Sora was just wondering if he/ she might like it because of Kingdom Hearts. They're different; yes, but there are a few gameplay similarities that make them enjoyable and a bit easier to understand. And this works from either perspective, whether you're a Final Fantasy fan looking to get into Kingdom Herats, or vice versa. Perhaps that's a bit unnecessary, but I'm bored, so meh. I'm just trying to point out that no where in this thread anybody said that Kingdom Hearts is "exactly" like Final Fantasy. |

In all honesty, I played FF7 a LONG time ago (like 6 or 7 years ago) and loved it. I only played it through once though, borrowing it from a friend. I completely forgot that Kingdom Hearts was related to Final Fantasy a few years ago when I FINALLY got a PS2. And than I saw Aerith and literally was taken by surprise. I loved Kingdom hearts, and it re-got me into Final Fantasy. |

Well it depends on which FF you rent. I advise 7, 10, or 12. |

If you've never played a Final Fantasy game before, I definitely recommend Final Fantasy 9. Its the first one I ever played, and its the reason I love the series. FF9 has a really interesting storyline, and it really easy to get attached to most of the characters. This is definitely a great game for FF newcomers such as yourself. |

FF7: Good Storyline, Characters, but sad ending (F****g Sephiroth) FF8: Slightly confusing storyline, okay characters, confusing game mechanics and LONGEST game in the FF series, period FF9: Good considering it was using different graphics to the others, good storyline but there were some times when I just said WTF! FF10: One of the best :D Great storyline and characters (exception of Seymour, he is such a thorn in my side), loved playing blitzball but the crests and sigils are very annoying to get if you want the Celestial/Ultima Weapons. FF11: Never played it, never will, I just don't have the time nor the money for online games like that. FF12: Interesting characters, and pretty good storyline. Slightly confusing game mechanics (being real time and also the licence board system is soooooo annoying). Although I kinda don't like the idea of espers instead of GF/Aeons, kinda confusing to use as well. |
