Ok, well:
The great things about it:
- It's a very powerful machine whatever anyone says and is a light year ahead of the other consoles on latest technology - for instance the blu-ray.
- The controller is absolutely fine. Look when the PS1 came out it was simply the ideal controller, and it hasn't changed at all basically from PS1 to PS2 to PS3 - so why poeple think it's worse I've no idea.
- Many dumbos give it low ratings due to the games, so in fact you are rating the game choice, NOT the console. The console is great, the menu at the start is a very good addition and all the things it can do (music, videos) are extra bonuses.
- The graphics are excellent, way better than 360 and Wii's graphics. Gameplay is stunning too, but mainly the graphics is amazing.
- Many divs haven't even given it chance to show what it can really do, yet the 360 had a slow start as well. So when the PS3 is at the same stage as the 360 is now, we'll see how things stand then won't we?
- Ok maybe this was also on 360 but the PS3 can store much memory than the PS2, and no memory cards are required - only internal ones for older games.
- Still has good exclusive games, such as Gran Turismo 5, Tekken 6, and others (ok, amtter of opinion) but for those who brag about it losing exclusives but I'm sure PS3 couldn't care less as long as the games are still on PS3 they won't mind.
Few things that stop it from getting 10/10:
- PS3 doesn't play some PS2 games.
- Online capabilities could be better or at least improved.
- The price is a bit expensive but real Sony fans should get it regardless of the price.
At least in my review I've put good points about it, not like some recent posts that have just posted trash.
As a conclusion there are many great things about the PS yet some people don't take any of them into consideration. The end of review.
