Here is a review on Resistance: Fall of Man

Lets start with graphics...

This game did not have the greatest graphics, but still last gen. What Resistance excels in the amount of texture in the world. The graphics are crisp, but still does not beat the graphics of Gears of War.

Game play- The only way to describe any of Insomniacs games game play would be phenomenal. The weapons in the game are very creative and are diverse. I never had so much fun with a rocket launcher since 007: Nightfire. The game barely ever glitches, that takes a lot of frustration out of the game. Not to mention superhuman mode is difficult mode was rather difficult. Grenades actually killed things too, who thought it possible (I’m looking at you Halo 2) The physics were also realistic, but can use a bit of work.

Controls- (totally opinionated) Great controls, the buttons were place perfectly. Halo still may hold the advantage though, except for the where duck is located.

Sound- The sounds are nearly realistic, the voice acting is a lot better than that of Halo (honestly, listen to the voice acting in Halo 2, its not too great) but the voice acting was not the best. 9/10

Overall- Great game and a solid shooter. I would always take this game over Halo, but that’s just me. 9/10
