It's not a rip off you prat for the technology inside, it's a very good deal. Now no-one cares about your stupid biased opinion you dike. What right do you have to tell people whats good and what isn't. |

At least Sony doesn't make such a faulty machine. http://tinyurl.com/yv7du8 But some Xbox owners aren't fully appeased, including Dustin Burg, a 21-year-old from St. Cloud, Minn. He is on his third Xbox 360 console — the first succumbed to the flashing three red lights and the second had a faulty hard drive. |

HAHAHA Your just Arch Mage and Champ of cyrodil... I'm Arch Mage, Grey Fox, Listener, Guild Master of the Fighters guild AND Champion of Cyrodil... And I don't find the 360 a creation of God either... I'll stick with my unbroken PS3 and not get the RRoD |

the ps3 has a chance of system failure of under 1%.While the 360 has a system failure of 33%. therefore look at it in differnt terms, world wide over one quater of the xbox 360 owners have or are (or both) recieving technical failness of their systems. That 33% is mainly caused by the soldering inside the console melting just because they compack the console too much. In order to solve that probelm they will proberly have to design the console interior better by enlargening the console (ps3 and 360 size wont be such a differnce after that) because thats proberly the cheapest way to lower the failure percentage. And the ps3 runs at a lot highier temperiture! |

Ok that means you shouldn't have to worry about your pockets BUT it does mean that your not gonna continue recieving broken or soon to brake xbox 360 though does it? From what i've heard the people who have sent their 360's back for a new one, they've just been recieving "repaired" 360s which doesn't only say the fault could happen again but recieve a differnt probelm (possibly more sever and more dangerous). its a vicious cycle. |

I mean you shouldn't have to keep worring if your console is gonna have a Ring of Fire and burn the house down. Plus while your waiting for it to been repaired and sent back to you can be a frustating time and once they get it back the whole scene could unreavel again with a tedious inevitability.... |

Microsoft has changed their policy regarding 360s returned for repairs. People are receiving the SAME 360 they sent in for repairs... it was announced some time ago. Microsoft has also identified the ISSUES ( note the plural ) that is occurring, and has found ways to address them. IF you read some of the interviews with Xbox group members like Peter Moore, you'll see that Microsoft obviously does NOT want a revolving door senario that you've described. This is part of the reason it took so long to come out and publicly announce the 3 year warranty. Microsoft will address any 360 with the three red light issue, and it now has identified ALL the causes and have the fixes. Microsoft is biting the bullet money-wise to address the issue/s... but Microsoft ISN'T stupid. It won't keep bleeding money on the issue any more than required. As much as humanly possible... it'll fix the 360s once and for all, because it DOESN'T want to spend more money on the same repaired Xbox 360s again and again. The PREVIOUS repair results aren't part of this NEW announcement. Microsoft now has a handle on what it needs to do repair-wise. Believe it or not... time will tell. |

All I have to say to Microsoft is... "Get off your @ss and FIX THE DARN CONSOLE!" For God sakes, I don't care for a three year warrenty, I want to know if my console will actually survive till the next-gen. So I would rather jsut spend money on ONE console and a one year warrenty than one console and a three year warrenty. Honestley, I just get the warrenty just to be safe. NOT to buy it as a "you have to." This goes for the last-gen too. My PS2 is dying (not dead) after five years of owning it. My XBox died after a month of owning it, this was brand-spankin' new! Luckily I bought the one year warrenty so I could actually replace the thing. I really regret this too, I REALLY want Halo 3, Halo Wars, and Bioshock. Not to mention Crackdown. So I'm not going to get a 360 until they actually fix the real problem. Oh, and also Gand-Champ of the arena... |

All I have to say to Microsoft is... "Get off your @ss and FIX THE DARN CONSOLE!" Errrr.... it is. For God sakes, I don't care for a three year warrenty, I want to know if my console will actually survive till the next-gen. So I would rather jsut spend money on ONE console and a one year warrenty than one console and a three year warrenty. IF it's a purchased Xbox 360 that encounters the red light issues, apparently it will be fixed now. The extra coverage provides a safety net should any more issues occur over three years. Sony's PS3 hasn't proven to withstand enough time yet. Hardware issues "could" crop up in time. The PS3 had software issues from the very start. Remember ??? The PS3s HDMI 1.3 STILL isn't capable of the HD audio that it's supposed to support.Honestley, I just get the warrenty just to be safe. NOT to buy it as a "you have to." LOL - The 360 THREE year warranty is FREE. What the heck have you been reading ??? It covers the purchaser from the date of sale for THREE years - for FREE. For $50.00 bucks USD you can get an EXTENDED TWO year warranty from Microsoft. There's a form that comes with your Xbox 360 purchase inside the box, and that'll give you FIVE years of coverage. This goes for the last-gen too. My PS2 is dying (not dead) after five years of owning it. My XBox died after a month of owning it, this was brand-spankin' new! Luckily I bought the one year warrenty so I could actually replace the thing. Other people had multiple issues with the PS2, so it's not like the PS2 DIDN'T have any serious issues. In fact Sony had to settle a Class Action suit against it by disgruntled PS2 owners over the "read disc error"... look it up. It took YEARS before Sony resolved that issue. I really regret this too, I REALLY want Halo 3, Halo Wars, and Bioshock. Not to mention Crackdown. So I'm not going to get a 360 until they actually fix the real problem. Microsoft is fixing the issues... now that it has identified ALL of them. |

I've always found Sony's hardward more reliable than Microsoft's. Such as the controller. My friends and I have been through over 10 controllers, while we still use the same controllers I've had for my PS2 that has been through hell and back. |

XBox 360 doesnt even come close to have all the games your are just so super retarded in everyway that the only thing the XBox 360 has is First person Shooters thats the only thing it will have considering there arent at all that much RPG and of course the PS3 can do both. |
