This is some need-to-know info for anyone considering on joining my SOUL rp. :3 History of CROSS & SIN (Systematically Integrated Nemesis) Around the year 2347 the Earth’s natural resources had began to plummet drastically. It had become apparent that the planet had used up its usefulness. For years the world survived on stored away food while scientists and military engineers met together to discuss on how to ensure survival. It was all to certain that the world could no longer be used with the increase of carbon and the planet slowly shifting away from the sun. So, it became decided that they would cultivate the other planets. The alignment of the Solar System had shifted in such an odd way to allow the other worlds to become more inhabitable, even if it was unbearable to do so. By the time this discovery was being made all central powers and governments collapsed. Nationalities were thrown aside and everyone banded together under two leaders, Isaiah Michael Andrews and Joshua Clive Moore. Together, the two men created the organization known as CROSS. The organization became a “godly” phenomenon. They sent explorers out to record information on the planets, including the weather and list of resources. Unfortunately, much of the weather still tended to be violent and the resources were few per planet. But with options running out the decided to continue with the evacuation of Earth. They distributed the small remainder of the Earthlings and placed them evenly on the other planets. CROSS set up bases on each planet. Enormous compounds meant to both govern and defend the people of said planet. By the year 3000 the descendants of Andrews and Moore had continued on with the legacy of CROSS and the 8 planets were populated and flourishing wonderfully. Scientific knowledge increased dramatically. In secret CROSS had began the developing of artificial lifeforms. Not mere robots, because they had plenty, but the actual birthing of Cyborgs. These gruesome trespass against nature was what caused the split within cross. These Cyborgs, now becoming known as SOULS, were weapons with a great deal of free will. The reason for their existence was to protect the Humans, but Moore wanted to use them to suppress the Humans. He believed by doing so they would filter out the worse of the people from the world, creating a Eutopian society. However good his intentions may have been at the start, his ways of achieving them were horrific and he, along with his colleagues, were banished from CROSS. They soon became known as SIN. From that moment, a war began that would last centuries. CROSS’s present goal is to eliminate SIN, which has became a pressing challenge. It seems that the enemy is always on step ahead of them. SIN has set up bases, much like CROSS; one on each planet. CROSS has forbidden the continuation of creating more SOULS, while SIN continues to produce them. However, the newer versions of SOULS are not as efficient in defense as the originals and many lack free will. CROSS (Community Restoration of Solar System) Leader: Isaiah John Andrews – Descendant of Isaiah Michael Andrews Headquarters: Base Freedom on Planet Jupiter Planets – Bases – Resources Venus – Base Zeal – Minerals: Venus is the hottest of all the planets, being closest to the Sun. The geography is mostly mountains and deserts, with many dust and sand storms. Rarely will temperature go below 80 and rain comes once a year, but when it does it is very brief. It is mostly used for the mining of precious minerals, such as coal or gold. Mars – Base Deliverance – Information/Military: Weather on Mars is mild and is most similar to that of the United State’s Tornado Alley/Great Plains. They are more subjected to lightning and dust storms than anything else. Everything is fairly flat but there is a great deal of underground caves. Mars has no real resource, instead it is the CROSS’ main Information and Military center. Mercury – Base Charity – Chemicals: Mercury has a cloudy atmosphere and is pleasantly cool and crisp, much like early fall. There are several lakes and oceans, but mostly it is just a lightly grassy area. It rains and snows must often, the temperature never goes higher than 75 F. Mercury has a great deal of chemicals located on their planet, which is used mostly for medicine. Jupiter – Base Freedom – Gas: Jupiter has a bumpy terrain with few mountains and lakes. The ozone contains a record amount of gases, both good and bad. Because of this the weather make become acidic and dangerous. Gas, being the only thing in real abundance, is the center resource of the planet. Uranus – Base Eden – Plants/Animals: Out of all the planets, Uranus is the one most like Earth. It is covered in mountains and is subject to extreme heat, extreme cold, and mild weather. There are also frequent wind storms and earthquakes. Plants and animals are in great numbers here, with a fair amount of water. Neptune – Base Epiphany – Water: Water and sea life is the main resource on this planet. In fact the entire planet is 95% water. The weather here is mostly humid and warm during summer; mild and humid into the fall; cold and icy in the winter; humid and rainy in the spring. Water from Neptune is supplied to most of the planets. Saturn – Base Redemption – Metals: Saturn is the planet of extreme weather. North of the equator the temperatures remain at winter conditions at all times of the year. The highest temperature recorded in the North comes about up to 50 F. South to the equator the heat can reach up to 135 F and as low as 88 F, as thus recorded so far. The surrounding rings are uninhabitable by human life, but have been known to carry pressure metals that reproduce from the extreme climate. These metals are also found in the soil. Thus, making Saturn’s resource metal. Pluto – Base Judgment – Prisoner Housing: Pluto, like Mars, has no resource. Though abundant in ice the weather becomes so cold that it is impossible to harvest it. Instead Pluto acts as a housing planet for all the prisoners. It is also where courts and trials are held. It is the harshest planet of all in every form, giving the CROSS Base its name: Judgment.

SOUL (Specimen of Ungodly Life) SOUL Aging Process: A SOUL does not age past the appearance of 27 years old, at most. Many cease to age after 20 and few do not grow past 14. The lifetime of a SOUL is unknown since a natural death has not yet occurred. However, it is known that a SOUL can most definitely live much longer than a Human. V.01 – Parasitic SOULS – Number of V.01 SOULS – 66 Important V.01 SOULS – No. 66 Clotho; No. 65 Lachesis; No. 64 Atropos Parasitic SOULS are exactly as they sound. These are artificial life forms that were made to grow and develop inside a woman’s womb, as if they were indeed natural. The body of a dead person, male or female, would be used to provide DNA to the scientists. These scientists would do a quick scan over said body to determine the cause of death and whether or not the body was safe to use. If not it would instantly be cremated. If so they would extract a sample of bone marrow and blood from the body, along with other DNA samples. From these samples they would begin a somewhat form of stem-cell reproduction. The DNA would compile together to create an embryo. The embryo would then be pumped with steroids and other muscle enhancers. Once the embryo researched a certain state, a Human woman, unwilling or not, would become the carrier of the embryo. It would be placed forcibly into the mother’s womb, where it would immediately begin to attach itself, as if it had been a natural child. During the growing stage the mother would be pumped with the steroids and other medications to help the child. She would also be given regular blood caplets, as well as vitamins. The SOUL child would begin to feed away on every last bit of its mother’s nutrients, from blood to the food she digested. Over this course of time the mother would become very ill and weak. This was a sign that the child was flourishing and growing. If the mother continued to be healthy further tests would commence to ensure the well being of the SOUL or to see if it was developing in an odd way. The carrying period is usually 5 months. During labor the mother will go into intense pain. She will be immediately rushed into the lab where the child would be born. The mother will die immediately after or during birth. The body would then be cremated. Information on the SOUL would be written down (weight, gender, mother, number, name). The SOUL would then be placed in a special Nursery. Over the course of two years the child will age from newborn to a full grown adult. During the first year the child would begin it’s teaching and training. At this time they will reside in machines where their mind would develop and all information will be coaxed into the brain. After the first year the SOUL would begin its combat training. Afterwards the fate of the SOUL would be decided, where it would work and if it was successful enough to release into the public as a citizen. If so, it would be given an alias and programmed to activate as a SOUL when the deemed master spoke its SOUL name. It will have all the functions of a normal human, including the ability to reproduce. If a female SOUL and male SOUL mate than another SOUL would be formed. But because of the superior body and functions of the SOUL mother, it would not kill her or weaken her. If a SOUL male mates with a Human female, another parasitic SOUL will begin and the mother would most likely die. If a SOUL female mates with a Human male than the offspring would be Human as well with advanced intellect and strength. SOULS do not require food or water in the same amounts as Humans do, unless a female SOUL is pregnant in which she will and can eat up to twice her weight in food each month. Bullets do little harm towards a SOUL. A sure way to kill a SOUL is to match it up in a fight with one. A SOUL is said to be able to choose its own master, most times. For an unknown reason the SOUL will be able to visualize its master mentally upon birth, and sometimes even before the birth of its master. If the scientists can confirm that the SOUL does have an intended master, somewhere, than it will allow the SOUL to be able to choose it freely, as long as they agree with it. If the person cannot be agreed upon than they are to be killed on the spot and a master to be assigned to the SOUL. In this case, a SOUL must be reprogrammed and force to recognize its master. If a SOUL cannot choose a master or suggests that it has none and will not, then it will be programmed to perceive a selected individual as its master. A SOUL recognizes a master when it sees them. Usually it takes only once to see the individual for it to trigger in the brain. Then the SOUL would announce this to the individual by presenting them with its SOUL name. By using the SOUL name the master can activate the SOUL into its SOUL mode where it will then obey, at will, every command given to its master. There are few cases where commands have to be forced onto the SOUL and few cases where it does not do as its commanded at all. During the time that the SOUL is not activated, it lives life as if it were a human being. Note Worthy SOULS No. 66 Clotho – Named after the Fate of Birth: This is the only SOUL any created that is able to reproduce a SOUL regardless of the race of her mate. Her gestation period is 2 months and can carry up to two baby SOULS at once. There is none to little ill effect upon reproduction. She is known as the Mother SOUL. No. 65 Lachesis – Named after the Fate of Life: According to record this SOUL is the most Human like than any other of the creation. She has an actual sense of justice and emotions. Lachesis was programmed to above all other things to protect the Human race at all costs. She is known as the Guardian SOUL. No. 64 Atropos – Name after the Fate of Death: She was meant to be the eliminator of her own species, should they become dangerous and out of control. However, there are some rumors that she is more violent towards Humans and cannot be controlled by them. Atropos is said to have no master and no amount of programming can reform her to believing she has one. She is known as the Reaper SOUL. Note: The V.02 of the SOULS are simply robots/Cyborgs made to appear and act Human, but completely artificial. There is little to know about them and so it is unnecessary to go into further detail. They are in no way directly related to the V.01 SOULS except by name. They do not have a SOUL Name or SOUL Alias. They are simply treated as numbers. However, an odd occurred not expected by CROSS or SIN is that V.02 SOULS that are technically Human (Cyborgs) are able to be the Masters of V.01 SOULS. SOUL Name & No: No 66 Clotho (Meaning: the Spinner; Sewer of Life; the Weaver) SOUL Alias: The Mother SOUL Human Alias: Nona Themia Graiel (Meaning: ‘Nature’s Ninth Cup of Life’) Age: 5 Human Years; Appears 19 Gender: Female SOUL Race: Parasitic Master: Undiscovered Profession: None Appearance: Clotho has an almost angelic like appearance to her, almost as if a symbol of her “purity”. She has curly white blonde hair that reaches to her waist, always being left down unless pinned back by her favorite blue bow. She has a dollish quality around her, which seems almost to insist that she be dressed up constantly. In fact, it would seem out of character if she wore anything but girlish clothing. Her favorite outfit being a short sky blue dress that stretches just above her knees; the sleeves are long enough to cover up to her knuckles and slump purposely at the top to reveal the shoulders. Her legs are covered with long white stockings and her feet have strapped black platform shoes. On her right shoulder, though usually kept hidden, is the trademark tattoo of the original SOULS. Around her neck, rather than a crucifix, is a blue laced choker holding a cameo of the Virgin Mary cradling the Baby Jesus. Her skin has a very healthy glow. Personality: Clotho is as intelligent as any SOUL, but can tend to be very naïve at times. She loves pleasing others and will almost always do whatever she is asked. However, she is very picky when it comes to finding her Master. Clotho seems to have a very innocent and child-like demeanor at times. Oddly enough she is immediately motherly and will try to nurture everyone she sees, especially other SOULS and children. Every SOUL, whether V.01 or V.02 automatically refer to her as “The Mother”, with the exception of her sisters. History: A single embryo, meant to produce one SOUL, was forcibly placed into a woman known as Nyx. The woman had been abducted and forced to carry out the experiments of CROSS. During the developing of the embryo, the cell oddly and miraculously split into three cells. The woman’s body was carrying three SOUL children. They tripled the amount of injections and pills given to her in hopes of keeping her alive long enough to bear the children. When labor hit, Atropos was the first to be born. Nyx refused to even look twice at the child because it didn’t stir or cry once, like a normal child would. (Normally SOULS do not make a sound upon birth with the exception of a little hiccup or two.) The second child arrived after an hour, Lachesis (or Liath), and she came out screaming and crying much to everyone’s surprise. Nyx demanded to hold the baby and was allowed to cradle the child until the labor started up again. The last baby, Clotho, came out just as Atropos had and was immediately disregarded. However, when the doctors encourage Nyx to hold Atropos and Clotho, the eldest triplet began causing as much pain as it possibly could. It kicked and scratched at the mother in an almost malevolent way. The mother, thinking that the child was some spawn of the devil, attempted to raise up and attack the babe but was shot in the head by one of the scientists. Immediately the triplets were taken to the “Nursery” where they received individual special training. Atropos was trained to be ready to eliminate all SOULS if needed; Lachesis was raised to be the protector of the Human Race; and Clotho was taught to care for children immediately. Clotho became the most SOUL like of the three, but inherited a strange motherly emotion that almost insisted her to breed. During the split of CROSS, Clotho was immediately put into hiding within the organization to prevent her from coming into SIN’s hands. However, during a transfer recently the ship carrying her had been ambushed by SIN upon which she was kidnapped for a brief amount of time. SOUL No & Name: No 65 Lachesis (Meaning: By Fate; Will of the Gods; Caster of Lots) SOUL Alias: The Guardian Human Alias: Liath Nyx Sabriel (Meaning: ‘Night’s Supple Blade’) Age: 5 Human Years, Appears 22 Gender: Female SOUL Race: Parasitic Master: Undiscovered. Profession: Commander of Base Deliverance Appearance: Liath has long dirty golden brown hair that is impossible to tame; it always has a messy and wild look to it. The length reaches about to her waist, but it is usually kept back in a low ponytail with the bangs left to hand in her face at will. Her eyes are almond shaped with a sharp, ice blue tint to them. When activated her eyes become pure black. She has a fair tan complexion on her body. Not too tan, but as if to suggest she was use to work. On her right shoulder she has a tattoo of a cross circled by a serpent. This was the original trademark of CROSS, before the organization has split in two. Around her neck she wears a similar crucifix around her neck, with words engraved on it. On the front side it says, ‘I bear the CROSS.’ and on the back it says, ‘Deliver me from SIN.’ Liath is usually seen wearing army pants and combat boots. Around her waist is a belt containing a variety of weapons, including guns. On her hands she usually wears fingerless leather gloves. She also wears a white tanktop. Also around her neck, besides her crucifix, is a dog tag with her SOUL Name and Number. Personality: Above any and all of the SOULS, Liath is the most human one. She is such a natural appearing creation that she is able to mingle among humans without them noticing her true nature. She is able to actually feel things and seems very in tune to others emotions, as well as thoughts. Liath tends to be a very sarcastic and firm person. She is very strict about her ‘no man left behind’ policy. She’s a commanding figure and will not hesitate to yell at others to get them to do their job. Most would say she is a total tomboy and most likely to be a future war veteran. Despite her harsh sounding persona she has a soft spot for children. During the split of CROSS, Atropos was taken by SIN and Lachesis stayed with CROSS. Clotho seemed to disappear entirely. From there Liath became the Commander of Base Deliverance after several inspections to make sure she was compatible. Other: She has a space jet that she refers to as Nemo. SOUL No. & Name: No 64 Atropos (Meaning: Death; Unturning; Inevitable) SOUL Alias: The Reaper SOUL Human Alias: None Age: 5 Years, Appears 25 Gender: Female SOUL Race: Parasitic Master: None Profession: Rogue SOUL Appearance: Atropos has pure black hair that was left to grow to only shoulder length. Her first cutting it was a sign of her rejecting the original image of many female SOULS who were instructed to grow her hair out. Her eyes are a soft violet, almost purplish like color. She has medium colored skin that is neither pale nor tanned. Atropos usually wears whatever she can get her hands on at that moment. She is known to change clothes very frequently so she is never seen in one specific outfit. One thing that she always wears is an upside down crucifix about her neck. Personality: Very little about her temperament is known, due to the lack of survival for those who come in contact with her. She seems to serve her own interests more than anyone elses. Atropos is easily disgusted by CROSS, SIN, Humans, and those who would choose to serve them. Her main goal seems to eliminate all Humans and allow SOULs to dominate the planet as Masterless. Atropos is less inclined to be sympathetic towards V.02 because of the fact that they “aren’t originals”. She is perhaps the most intelligent and violent of all SOULS. Even Atropos knowledge became even beyond the scientist’s comprehension. When the day came to confirm that Atropos indeed had visioned a Master at birth she had truthfully remarked that she was her own Master. This immediately led to panic among the scientists who then suggest that they reprogram Atropos forcibly to view someone as a Master. She refused and acted on her own orders to slaughter the scientists while informing them that Humans were now inferior and that she would eliminate them instead. Atropos broke free of the CROSS base and now wanders to Solar System. There is always one Hunter or another out on the look for her. She has became the most wanted creature in the galaxy.	S. C. :) I'm still a tad confused with some sections and I'll point them out. SOUL No. & Name: (not sure what to put here, i.e. does the name have to mean anything? And the number, if my character's to be a V.01 SOUL, what's the number range it has to be in?) SOUL Alias: Echo Knight Human Alias: Noctis Refero (Meaning "Echo at night") Age: 5 Years, Appears 25 Gender: Male SOUL Race: Parasitic Master: Undiscovered Profession: Rogue SOUL Appearance: Noctis has medium-spiked pure black hair with streaks of deep purple through it, giving the effect that his hair is like that of a mystical being. It is usually spiked up, but sometimes Noctis wears a bandana that raises up the fringe. Noctis has piercing green-grey eyes. He is usually seen wearing black pants with red rings around the ankles, and a white shirt underneath a blue woolen jumper. He always wears the sleeves of the jumper rolled up. His boots are of pitch black, worn out with age and travel. Personality: Noctis shows little empathy to any of the other SOULs he comes in contact with, and none at all to any humans he does. In fact, he considers humans inferior to SOULs and most likely kills them if chance happens upon it. He comes across as highly intelligent, but can at times change into a spontaneous, child-like character. History: Noctis is the result of a male SOUL female human mating, thus making him a V.01 SOUL. Because of this mix, Noctis' mother died before he ever knew her. This has never shown to afflict Noctis, and indeed he never ponders the matter. Having no discovered master, Noctis never regarded his parents as his own kin. Noctis wanders the solar system himself, but makes sure to steer clear of CROSS landmarks. He is well aware of the war between CROSS and SIN, and being a SIN creation, he knows his fate if his path intertwines with anything CROSS. He shows little allegiance, if none, towards SIN however. He sees the war as simply something that is going on in the background while he continues his normal life. He is not a solder, and thinks it wasteful that one should become so for either Party. He cares not ifthe war wages on forever or if it ends that very hour, as long as it does not bother him. Noctis mostly despises humans, consideringthem inferior to SOULs. Alright, just a few helpful comments for you Echo. Your SOUL number would probably need to be around 10-63. Something like that. The only thing it means is what number SOUL created you were. And your SOUL name has to be one Greek Name. A SOUL's name is what activates him/her from the Human Facade, to the all out weapon. SOUL No. & Name: No 12 Lumen(Light) SOUL alias: The Sad SOUL Human Alias: Affero Lumen Horra(Bringer of Light) Age: 7 years, appears 23 Gender: Male SOUL Race: Parasitic Master: undiscovered Profession: Doctor in SOUL and human baby wards Appearance: He has short, slightly messy sandy blonde hair. It is almost like a mop on top of his head, equally untamable. His eyes are a brilliant and awe inspiring Golden, some find them gold, but most find them soft and caring. You shall usually find him in a long, white coat which is common among doctors. Then, he wears long, skin tight pants that are jet black which gives a stark contrast yet calming contrast to the white coat. Then, he wears a white T-shirt which is also skin tight. It shows off his lithe and agile form which is mostly what he was made for, speed. Lastly, he wears jet black shoes that, when dealing with the baby SOULs, is covered by sanitation bags. Personality: He is a kind and gentle SOUL, usually loved by all he meets even if only brief. He is very human like except for the fact he thinks to sadistically with life, both human and SOUL babies alike. He is usually seen being saddened for no reason at all, or maybe there is, who knows. History: Like all parasitic children, he was created in a lab but brought up inside of a human mother. But, unlike all of the other test subjects before them, she was willing to have the child SOUL since she has been unfit for normal children. Her name was Liana Horra. She was drugged with all the normal steroid injections and pills to ensure her survival and the future of her unborn SOUL son. She was weak and ill during the entire pregnancy, showing the he was developing correctly but she was happy she was able to have a child at all. She had made plans to adopt the boy or girl if possible, but was often reminded that she would most likely die after the birth. That prediction came true as the fifth month arrived and she went into labor. It was quick and clean, Lumen making not a sound as he was carried off. Liana demanded to see her son, sensing her time was near. So, to give the willing host her final request they allowed her to hold him and give him his human alias, Affero Lumen Horra. After she had given him his name, she died from sheer exhaustion and nutrient deprivation. Oddly enough after she died, not if only seconds later, the babe, Lumen, began to cry incessantly as if mourning her death. That is when they decided his SOUL alias of The Sad Soul. He has lived throughout his life knowing what had occurred. He seen his master before he had been born and seen the light that was the planet outside the womb. Yet, he has no luck meeting the man as of yet. He was given the same training as the eleven before him and was assigned a job just like the others. He was assigned to be a birthing doctor since he seemed to be attached in some way or form to all children, human or SOUL.
