I wonder if they make gobs of money by creating DVD episodes instead of TV episodes. Do they have audio tracks by the actors and other extras, and is the picture better? Are there blu-ray versions? You know I luv SG-1 but that horrible Babylon 5 DVD was so bad, I'm afraid. |

The Ark of Truth disk has extras on. A couple bad movie trailers and the Stargate Worlds game trailer. Continuum teaser. One nice long enough vid of the Q&A at Comic Com in SF. The best is the Prelude to the Ark of Truth, just in case you are watching the vid with someone who isn't as well versed as you are or, you know... as a refresher ;) If enough of us buy these 2, there will be more. I don't know what constitutes enough of us, so buy them as gifts too :) |

If they cut stuff out from the first DVD release, then there probably will be a "collector's edition" somewhere down the line with the deleted stuff added back in. Maybe. Some Alfred Hitchcock collections are a great example for that. Gotta watch which ones you buy, because some are more edited than others. |

I'm getting Ark of Thruth this weekend. They sold out last week. I don't know why they're canceling Stargate. They have a good writing staff and there's still alot going on that needs to be resolved. Babylon 5 kind of grew on me. The dialog I always found to be rather pastey and predictable, but that Straczinsky (sp?) guy has a few good ideas in his head. I saw all of the only season of the Crusade series. I really want to know what the Apocalypse Box is. Hey, did anyone see SG-1 episode 200 with the puppets? |
