The BSG remake surpised everyone... the only thing worse that they could remake is Space: 1999... that would be totally funny. But that's not the one I'm predicting.

Ages ago the local BBC station played a cult classic called Blake's 7. It was just plain COOL is so many ways... I was 100% into it even though the quality varied a lot. It was very dark sci-fi... 7 criminals on their way to prison ended up escaping onto a mysterious ship that happened to be more powerful than any other around. Yet these seven different personality types- it always seemed as if they might turn against each other at any moment. The most unique character was a guy named Avon, way too smart and kind of brutal in like a Roman kind of way. Blake, who was the captain of the ship, was an idealist dreamer, where Avon was the opposite, so Avon hated him. It also had the best bad-guy woman, Servalan or something. Anyway, a lot of sci-fi like Serenity and Farscape totally lifted things right out of Blake's 7.

THAT would be a great show to remake, because the writing was perfect but it was low budget when it was made.
