I'd still count those as coincidences :P But you don't have to be Buddhist and believe in reincarnation. In fact they tell those who follow to believe in whatever aspect of the religion that suits them. And for others, no Buddha is not a God, and should not be revered as so, but as a mentor... |

although ime not to keen on any reliegeon, i would encourage you to be a buddhist, as such that religeon dosent contain scarifices or any of the blood and gore stuff and, yeah, but the desicsion is unlimatly up to you i guess |

People shouldn't follow a religion because they like it or think it's good. Religions make statements about the supernatural and you should only follow a religion if you believe that it is the sole purveyor of truth about such matters. |

Buddhism is a philosophy, with some remnants of religions still mixed in. And I would not recommend you become a Buddhist unless your serious about it, have lot of patience. Otherwise your not gonna find much in the study of it. |
