Forget about all of criticism he's received and all of the comparisons to his older brother, Eli Manning has came into his own over the past couple of weeks when it mattered most. He played remarkably even though he had several receivers bobbling and dropping gimme passes all night. His John Elway-esque performance at the end of the game where he commanded the troops on a 83 yard drive down the field to score a touchdown was brilliant. He had to overcome everything on that final drive. He stabbed the wicked Patriots in their black evil hearts and destroyed their perfect season. Now we can all watch Sportscenter again without having to hear about how great the Patriots are. They are the biggest losers in NFL history as far as I'm concerned. Also, that defense tore Brady apart and knocked him around enough last night to make up for how little it has been happening all year. Eli Manning and the New York football Giants have done the world a great favor. I wouldn't mind if they won the next few Superbowls just as payment for the great work they did just 2 days ago. They deserve it.
