Originally this method of animation was used due to it's low cost, once the show took off it was decided to keep the original style of the show(except for once episode - Good times with weapons). Matt and Tre even make fun of this style of animation in one the Christmas episodes.

Nope it's two guys that do the majority of the voices (Matt and Tre) although there are many other voice actors working on the show. I don't see how this could make you think the show is bad though.

You obviously have only seen the older episodes, Kenny doesn't die in every episode anymore. And I doubt the creators were ever trying to make South Park a "down-to-earth" show.

They don't even move their legs. They HOP! Heck I could create a south park episode all by myself using microsoft powerpoint. After all, doesn't just one guy do all 4 main character voices?

It's just their style of animation. It doesn't bother me at all. Besides, it gives the show diversity.

First of all, he doesn't die in EVERY episode. In the more recent episodes he seems to be having better luck.

Second, what's wrong with it not being down-to-earth? It's an ADULT CARTOON for pete's sake!

Once again, it's just part of the animation style. Seems like all you care about is snazzy graphics.

If you think South Park is watched so much because of its amazing animations then wtf. 1st off I don't think anyone really watches shows based on how well the people animated the characters. The average person watches a show for comedy & humor or whatever they are looking for in the show.

Laftaburst, first of all you suck for saying South Park sucks. South Park happens to be one of the highest-rated shows in televsion. And it didn't get that way because "of crappy animation". It got there because of the episodes and how great each show is! The movie was great so I suggest you say nothing about that either.

Oh, and if it sucks so much, why is it a 2-time Emmy Award winning show? Beat that.

I love South Park! It's clever, easy to produce, and the animation just adds to the comedy.

South Park will run until 2011 I believe, 15 seasons in all.
